I updated my Galaxy Note N7000 to jelly bean thru official update. My phone has become unbelievably slow and the battery drains within no time. Plz help.

fourlove, i followed the steps as recomended, still slight lag exsists and battery life worst. Phone overheats during charging, video playback and internet useage. These issues were not there before the update. Any advice, or should we wait for a patch up by samsung.This is serious! SAMSUNG SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

go to settings then security then check sim change alert is on or off, i think by turning it off it may help you.
and yes you can take backup of apps by app AirDroid available on PlayStore.

Is the update already rolled out in the Philippines? I'm using Note with open line and haven't receive notifications yet.

If u have taken it by kies it will be restored once u connect it to pc after the update or if u have taken backup by any app like super backup, once u open the backup file it will automatically be restored..... So no worries about that
I really don't have a idea about app backup but I think there are apps available in the play store so check there...

Everytime i change my sim rs1.50 is deducted from my balance. This happened after the update. Any way to stop it?????
