While using KIES to upgrade to upgrade...I dont get any pop-up to upgrade...its says "your device current firmware version is not supported to update firmware via kies"
current firmware version is PDA:LRB /PHONE:LR1 / CSC:LR4 (XXX)
Its a non-rooted phone..
I am from India...appreciate any help :)

Yesterday night atlast received Jelly bean upadate for GT-N7000 awesome features and very fast processing....

Hello Friends,
Please follow the following steps. It will make your Galaxy GT-N7000 Jelly Bean update work like butter. Also will improve your battery performance .
1 Take back up of your contacts, message, call log and everything that is IMP for you.
(For message and call log backup you can use SMS backup+. It will synchronies with your gmail account.
2 After back up is done format your external SD card. As the device makes lost directory folder on external SD card. So it’s must External SD card is formatted.
3 Now format your Internal SD card.
4 Now start the phone in recovery mode by pressing (Volume UP key + Power Key + Home Key)
5 In recovery mode move the cursor by volume Up And Down key and select by Power key.
6 First clear the cache, second go to Recovery/Factory reset option do the factory reset.
7 Now restart your phone. Don’t worry it will take time to start as the installation process will be going on.
8 Now the device will work super fine.
I did the same now its working like butter and super fine. And battery performance is good too.

I got this feedback from others also, so I'll recommend to wait for 1more month, until Samsung comes up with patch or improved version.

CAUTION: FOR LAG FREE AND SMOOTH PERFORMANCE PLS FACTORY RESET AFTER UPDATING.
Turn your Note off and when it restarts hold the power and volume up buttons down at the same time. You'll get this menu. Choose wipe data/factory reset(or Reboot your sys) . Everything on your device will be erased. As you're reloading your apps install them in small groups and test to make sure no lag or problems surface.

guys plz report us what are the drawbacks of jb update.. And reportif there is any solutions for any problems....
And people relying on ota update please inform when it arrives
