Rene Richie has done many video's explaining why, despite being made by Samsung, iPhone displays should not be considered as Samsung displays anymore than any of the A series SoC's that have been produced at Samsung fabs should be considered as Samsung chips.

So you like vibrant color... moreIt’s not vibrant, it’s the Apple calibration which i like and see 😁 i didn’t like the idea back in days when Apple decided to switch to OLED, but i kind a knew Apple won’t make it look like those oversatured colours and i was right, Apple calibrated their OLED look very similar to their LCD just a little bit better.

blue, 31 Aug 2022So I am right, Samsung developed its own version.Well er no, partly because you never made that claim, and partly because up till now Samsung must have been operating under some licensing agreement for the use of LTPO.
your words were 'Samsung does not license LTPO from Apple.' were they not???????

blue, 30 Aug 2022Samsung does not license LTPO from Apple. You may find you are wrong about that. Articles on both TomsGuide and Android Central make it pretty clear that LTPO was developed by Apple, and that Samsung have been working on their own version called HOP.
Hers is a quote from the Android Central article itself:
'HOP (hybrid-oxide polycrystalline) technology is synonymous with LTPO but different enough so there are no royalties or patents involved.'

Do you seriously think that in Apple position they would risk everything to offer worse parts for different iPhone users. That would ruin their name and brand which they've been building tens of years.
People need to use their heads littlebit more 😅

Pretty much all big companies don't rely on parts from a single supplier. Generally speaking, relying on a single supplier to supply 80% of parts is very bad. If that supplier goes down, you go down with them.

How do you tell what screen you have with Apple? I bet Chinese brand screens are worse quality. Bought a new iPad and the LCD it looks creased under the glass top and bottom, cheap lamination.

SShock, 30 Aug 2022TSMC would fill in the chips gap, BOE and LG would fill in ... moreBOE and LG certainly don't fill the gap, their production does not fit the highest standards both in quality and quantity. Batteries can be made by the Chinese, but again, the production quality lags behind Samsung and LG, that's something Apple can't afford.
And the rest? Samsung is the only one who can make RAM and storage modules in the top quality.
