There is absolutely no comparison between them.

Am I the only who feels the prices are absolutely ludicrous. Why would anyone pay this for a Snapdragon 695, and very mediocre hardware (average battery, average or below average fresh rate for this price, average brightness, only 2 cameras etc)? There appears to be no single feature set, that stands out. If they were going to use only 2 cameras, they should have used 2 x 50MP sensors, both with larger pixels, one ultrawide and a 2x zoom. Plus this needs another €100 shaved off, of the price. Nokia has clearly lost the plot.

"However, if you happen to break or lose your device, a replacement will be provided quickly without any additional monthly costs."
How does this work? So if I give away my phone to someone else and claim it's lost, will they disable that old phone? Will I be able to use both phones?
How does the economics work here? Is this the reason they are charging premium for this phone?

Also weird to say you never owned PC like PC have 4K screen as standard. Standard is 1080p on 60hz that most have. Also games are mostly locked in 60fps anyways so there is no point for these. Well there are lots of games that support more fps too but it's still less then these that are locked either 30 or 60

Materials are about as recycled as entire Nokia brand... I'm just surprised it's not another phone with SD 480 again... Nokia released like 300 of those in last 2 years...

I acknowledge myself as a sociopath with lack of empathy as since 2018 I only use phones that have 4K recording, including 2018 Nokia 6.1 that I bought for $150 in a stock clearance in Target. I am so sorry and I argee with you that people spent $530 for a phone doesn't deserve 4K recording and more advanced technology. And sorry to any Android fanboys in gsmarena for using an iPhone 12 mini that battery barely go through a day.

Like it or not, in the segments and countries Nokia compete in, people mostly base their decision on value for money.

Good luck trying to convince a buyer why $600 is good value for the X30. In the buyer's mind, they will be thinking about the same-priced Samsung S21 FE and Realme GT 2 Pro as better choices.

Why is HMD Global pricing these phones like they are some flagships??!! I just can't understand it. These specs are available in phones under and around the 20K range, and even though they may not promise 3 OS updates, it is still a better option.

Sin , 01 Sep 2022You own a Nokia 9 Pureview I remember from your old comment... moreNo worries, i do not take offense from people that have something to say. Yeah, still owe and use Nokia 9 as my daily driver. I came to a stage where i really do not need and want to change the devices as i did before. I have way to many things installed or made how i wanted them to be, plus some automated stuffs, so changing the device is a pain. But slowly my devices battery is giving up while there are no OS updates for it anymore. I also like the android 13 privacy implementations, so sooner or later i'll need to change this good old pal of mine. But he won't be forgotten as it will be sitting next to its older brothers: Nokia N8, Lumia 1020 and Nokia 8, all still working, well with some bad batteries asside nokia 8.
Before nokia x30 there was no alternative for me besides Fairphone 4. A device that also does help you to not need to change it every 2 years. But yeah, i also have strong principles and i want to support the european brands and not chinese ones. While Fairphone 4 does a lot of what i want and the company itself is doing what i support the x30 has made me rethink it. So now i really do not know what to do, i will wait for a while longer to see them against eachother and decide. I still lean on the side of fairphone and all that repairability. But i like that hmd started to do some more recycling and fight for our enviroment too, so will be a tuff choice. A Highend cpu is always welcomed but working with my wifes x20 does not feel remotly close to a low end device as some bashed on here, i mean, there are some slowdowns in comparison but not something that would make me brake the deal, and that battery life, well i want that battery life:D.
