I have had too start rethinking it
Updates are probably not all that improvement and over rated and unnecessary
Nokia phones might claim too be future proof because of software but hardware going age real badly
what's the point of having the latest Android version if the phone can't handle it is too sluggish and painful too use for given asking price
Low end hardware with new software doesn't ever go together well and under powered hardware suffer on new software versions with higher system requirements
I have seen the results first hand experience and there not pretty

AnonD-546724, 01 Sep 2022Good luck running Android 15 on a dumpster fire chipset from 2021Sd 695 has cortex A78 same as sd888, dimensity 8100, 1200, 1300, 920, 900, sd 778G, Exynos 1280 etc. Its modern soc, people just hate it because of 4k recording but its really good soc, especially when you get it around $200. No soc offer more value at that price point.

X30 looks nice
- fingerprint scanner is an underrated feature, and sad to see that even Nokia has dropped it going forward.
- a 90hz screen would've done fine
- SD695 .. why not SD 6 Gen 1?!
- even Zenfone 9 can accommodate a larger battery.. why not X30?
- just solid build and camera ois makes the phone 3x as costly as other SD695 phones.. the price is a turn off

that main camera sensor is same sensor found on s22 plus if hmd would have properly optimized the camera software it could be a camera phone in 500$ range

Big improvement from Nokia, X30 looks quite enticing if you can live with 695 chip. Nice to see 3 yrs of updates too. More like this!

Also the most expensive SD695 on the market.
Like previous phones from Nokia had all these SD480 in them and still were around 300 euro

No wonder nokia is not selling thier phones in India. There are multiple phones with sd695 in indian that too with amoled under 200$ that will crush thier garbage. For that kind of money, one can get sd 8 gen 1 and 10 bit display atleast here in India
