Nokia X30 5G and G60 5G unveiled with SD695, a promise of 3 OS updates

Finally, the X30, the Nokia I was waiting for. All I wanted is included, alu frame, Amoled, decent CPE/GPU without being over the top. Enough battery and some kind of fast charging without exaggerating it. As I don't use fast chargers except for occasional needs, I don't care for that anyway. Knowing that the price will not be cheap, most certainly more expensive that devices who offer even more it will require some savings before I buy it but I will definitely do it unless there is a similar upgrade of the XR20 coming along.

X30 one has a beautiful design but the price make it bleh. Can't record 4K even with $530 is so 2012 of this thing. They should have gone with Snapdragon 778g or just 750g if they want to made it to G60 too. 695 is OVERRATED.

Anonymous, 01 Sep 2022After several price drop when the phone is year old for sureNokia very rarely have their prices dropped and sty that way. One needs to hunt for offer actions. Even 3 years old nokia 7.2 ist still holding it's price at arround 200 euros, at mediamarkt.

I got 45 apps on my 250EUR Redmi Note 11S. After I did the uninstall process. That means together Xiaomi + Google apps and so on. Similar number of apps I had on my past Motorola Edge 30 ("clean software experience" let's say).
I have around 60 preinstalled apps on my Galaxy S21 FE. A much more premium phone than the Redmi.
People talk sh*t about things, without actually knowing what they are talking about. Ohh, MiUi is so buggy on budget models, ohh is full of ads everywhere, there are 100 apps that you can't uninstall, etc.
Let's all buy only Nokia, Motorola and Pixel phones, because only this phones offer "clean experience". Lol.

Last models that come out 6 months to year ago were all with SD480 so what are you expecting from a brand like that ? They cant set SD 6 Gen 1 in it as the price for it would then be like the flagships in the market. It be like Samsung S22 that cost 730 euro

I was reading this article and become happy to know that nokia is using amoled and 695 chip and in display fingerprint.But after knowing the price,I almost got a heart attack 😆😆

Bouth devices are promising and feel fresh without selling your data to third party also without all garbage installed. Something common in Samsung devices and well, the copy paste garbage that gets released every 1 Mounth by the same company that has more brands. You know whom i am talking about, those brands that all this inflated ignorants here brag about while bashing everything they see and is not cheap enough for their taste. Well i was going for Fairphone 4, nokia x30 made me rethink it. Let's see how they fair against eachother.

Nokia already giving 3 years security updates to most of its phones, so not really an improvement. 3 OS matched with 4 years security would be better

As for the SD480 5G is actually a way more capable CPU then previous generations of SD 600 series CPUs and sometimes it outperfomerd even some 700 series ones, go figure, what a "bad" cpu because of a name. ignorance is bliss ain't it? Good that you can buy some paperspecs chines "device" with 200.
