darodassa, 05 Sep 2022the issue with this isn't the price, it's windows... morewhat is the point of this comment

the issue with this isn't the price, it's windows. For that money I'd never get a windows pc. 3.500€ is a M1 Pro 16 inch MacBook that'll blow any windows laptop out of the water, not even because of specs but simply because windows has far more crashes, compatibility and driver problems than would be acceptable for that price. I have a Surface Pro 7 and it's trash, keeps losing bluetooth connections, apps not responding, slow to boot etc it's beautiful hardware but windows makes it less unreliable than my old 2019 macbook

          Seems worth it

More of this please. I'm so tired of 4:3 foldables around 8in. This is different. Admittedly it's still 4:3 but at least it's a different take.

blue, 01 Sep 2022You are really tragic with comparing the prices and money. ... moreMan fact is same specced laptop along with tablet would cost me no more than 2000 all together.
Instead of bying 2 devices for 2000 i can get this one device for 4000.
Tragedy is its very expensive for no reason.
Another tragedy is way you thinking and insulting people.
Your logic makes no sense but i couldnt expect more from below average human.

No man this proves Xiaomi is crap for you but people like me are happy woith it.
By the way Xiaomi dont do gaming laptoipps Lenovo do.
Whats the point of buying Xiaomi laptop if its not suitable for extreme gaming and most specs.

This is a new concept and you're going to be the beta tester + patron.
Early adopter vanity virtual tag as well would be provided.

YUKI93, 01 Sep 2022$3,499? I'm not entirely sure about that. Even Lenovo&... moreLike with surface, its the starting point, not going to be cheap. The same happened also to folds, but its now getting better.
You could make some tablet + performance keyboard or use 2 tablets instead, it will never be the same tho.
Well, unlike phones, there is no camera restriction. With increased production it should get cheap, at least so I hope as I wait for new PC.
12.5"+ are looking great recently, if I could have android tablet and pc performance in ~1 device, it would be great.

Its the future, hope it comes soon to mid range tho.
3way fold would make this useful as 2 size tablet. Physical keyboard as performance base could be even sold separately.
At least I would love that, small/big tablet + notebook + big screen + performance computer... all in one(combo) device.
I think I seen that kind of ms surface design somewhere, maybe they are slow, or too shy?

$3,499? I'm not entirely sure about that. Even Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Fold isn't any cheaper. I'd rather have a laptop with two identical touch-supported screens. That'll make much more sense.

Why don't you try to assess the usability and possibilities of this very device? Beyond your brain capability?

Everything looks good, except that unreasonable hefty price. Who will spend around 3 lakhs INR or 5 lakhs Nepali rupees on such things?? :(
@ASUS please strip some features and make it under 2 lakh INR, then only there is some chance..!!

Most of the tablets coming out are of 16:10 aspect ratio which is good if you're watching 16:9 format videos. The 21:9 films may suffer a bit but still for the S8 Ultra by Samsung, it'll appear bigger than almost all bar form smartphones. However in this format content viewing will suffer. Also if the physical keyboard could be attached to the tablet while keeping the whole 17.3" display usable, then the price point would be justified because the internals are good for casual gamers.

They should go bigger, like 24inch or sht ... Utilize footprint of 15.6 or even 17.3 regular laptop when its closed. Than even price would be okey. Imagine pulling out that badboy in your local coffee shop :D
