But I totally agree, the prices of Oppo new smartphones are NOT cheaps at all, they sell it as gold or flasghip but it's not, it's only average smartphones with some premium features. I guess their plans is that Oppo is the official BBK house for premium smartphones with the matching prices and offline sells, and for new generations of users /geeks, or some people who want a flagship killer or a very competitiv smartphone they have to go with Realme or maybee One Plus....

The Zenfone 9 is far better than... moreYeah, usually the UK gets ripped off, but the £ prices are pretty good tbh considering the storage. Perhaps £50 lower would make them a bit more competitive - but then again the other dimension 8100 smartphone available in the UK is the Realme GT Neo 3 at £599, which is a lot less premium (all plastic).
The EU prices are insane though.

you have to suffer, 31 Aug 2022even with discount they gave you they still priced the same... morethey are NOT bad smartphones, it's a fact, a lot of people will be ok with them, can enjoy them, but the prices are still a bit too high to make them verry competitiv, it's a fact. It's why Realme phones can be an alternativ because they are just a little less expensive.

The Realme flagships are the best enemies and alternatives to these Oppo Reno 8 phones. You can get more for the same price, or same for a lower price, with the same User Interface. ;)
