Contrary to what I've read so far in this comments section I'm actually quite the fan of the dual cutout. I get that it's most definitely not for everyone but I think it takes a unique approach to an issue that has faced phone manufacturers since the days before notches.

DaFink, 04 Sep 2022Ohh a dig at me, you got me there, what a burn yadda yadda ... moreYou really lack common sense. Just because you don't buy a product, it doesn't mean that you cannot express your opinion on it. The very purpose of comment section is to let users express/exchange their opinions.

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2022Are you trying to say that if there is a large ugly cutout ... moreOhh a dig at me, you got me there, what a burn yadda yadda etc etc…….
Common sense would be if you do not like a design element to such a degree then do not buy the device, it’s really that simple. My point was more that it’s hardly a big deal either way, It will be complained about though, on this site mostly by people who never would consider an iPhone anyway, go figure 🤷

Now imagine a worl... moreAre you trying to say that if there is a large ugly cutout on a screen, people shouldn't complain and should just accept it? The fact that Apple reduces the size of the cutout means that Apple believes that small cutouts are better than large cutouts. I mean, it's common sense, but I'm not sure if you have it.

People should always choose what they feel is best for them. I’m going to be doing just that when I pick up an iPhone 14 of some sort, and fully I expect to get a ton of flack on here should I have the gall to express a positive opinion on it once I do.

I have never tried iOS, I have only tried android and windows phone
So I can't really complain or praise iphones but I hate people criticize an os just for the sake of it

You can do ringtones with iOS GarageBand by only using your phone. Any audio you can get inside your iPhone can be switched to ringtone

DaFink, 04 Sep 2022Nothing wrong with this post, it’s balanced and reasonable ... moreI didn't hate Apple (I had 3 iPhones, 2 iPads, Apple TV box, AirPods). I just hate what they have become and the fact that they are unwilling to change. Too conservative approach and only focused on making more profit.
Based on this facts, is only normal that I express my hate in some way. In some instances more.
I am not saying I will never buy an iPhone again. But, until they will change some things in iPhones (not just small design things each and there), I will probably stick with Android phones. They are not perfect, but at least I have more options to choose from. And almost each year at least one manufacturer comes with something new or changed.

How is this "pill" better than the notch? They just moved the notch down. It's not like much can be displayed above the "pill".

I was a Pixel 2 user for over four and half years. iOS has some limitations, but if you can live with it, it has better perrformance, less bugs and and less lags, and better upgrades cycle.

-Trix-, 04 Sep 2022Post of the month! Exactly! I don't understand why ... moreI generally don't care how much market Apple has, but I care enough that if it keeps on taking it from Android, maybe Android phone makers will wake up and stop being such a** for software side of things. Just throwing moar of everything in a ROM and then not bother to support it long term is not the way and it seems it's slowly changing. But too slowly for my taste. It took like 7 years for Android segment to somewhat catch up with Apple's 5 years support policy. And that's just for major OS updates, I'm not even counting security only updates going past that point. Am I suppose to wait another 7 years for Android brands to wake up?
