I love the look of this phone but I cannot get over the Google skin they are using... it is the anti-thesis of the physical design language. It's too rounded and child like. ZERO futurism or edge to it.
Boxy phones should boxy UI elements, rounded ones, more rounded elements. It only makes sense (though if we want to be logical, boxy everything makes the most sense becuase it gives the most working area).

Edge 30 Ultra looks pretty good. If it comes to the US i might get one - camera reviews on youtube so far are very promising

Samsung are not perfect (especially with the whole Exynos vs. SD chipsets in the recent years), but at least they give good software updates (even for more cheaper models). Also, One UI is a nice skin in my opinion.

Leo16, 04 Sep 2022Motorolas last midrange model in USA will receive 3 major O... moreHopefully what you are saying it's true. That will mean this top Motorola model will easily get 3-4 years of software support (is not Apple or Samsung, but is not very bad either).
But, personally I doubt it. I remember some cases 1-2 years ago when Motorola changed some official statements (that didn't pleased their customers), just to make everyone happy. But, in the end, turned out they were actually lying (because they still didn't gave software updates for some particular models).
Anyway, it was 1-2 years ago. So, maybe they changed now.

Motorola disappoint me they make some nice phones but there updates are far and few between completely mugging there customers off, you would think a big corporation like Lenovo would sort this out, people complain all the time about there updates you'd think they would address the customers they would sell more phones.

I had Samsung pho... moreMotorolas last midrange model in USA will receive 3 major OS updates and 4 years of security updates, even the midrange models from 2021 will receive at least 2 major OS updates and 3 years of security updates, Motorola has improved alot in software updates, it may still not be as good as Samsung in updates but Motorola phones are more durable and have better battery life than Samsung phones, what's the point of having perfect software update policy when the hardware is not durable?
