As for the price, I believe they do price their lesser than other companies (Samsung, Apple) But overall, all flagship phones, are getting pricier by the day. I don't expect $1300 for a phone like this (That is S22 Ultra kind of money) but anything in the range of $800 - $900 seems alright for this but maybe Moto can surprise us with a better offer

Of course, I had iPhones and Chinese models too, in parallel. But nowadays, Samsung is the best in software (at least from Android part).
But for me, price is important too. I mean, if some manufacturer will release a nice flagship, that will cost maybe 200-250EUR less than a Samsung or an iPhone, then I might be interested in buying that one.

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2022why are you expecting less than average price for flagship ... moreI don't expect less than average price. I said I don't want them to be as expensive as Samsung or Apple models (those cost around 1150EUR where I live).
I mean Motorola is not exactly king of the software updates, lol. I mean if I have to choose between a Samsung or a Motorola for same price, I will definitely go with the Samsung. That is why I was saying that Motorola should be a little less expensive. Maybe 800-900EUR.

The Android Freak, 04 Sep 2022You don't have OnePlus 10T available at your place? iQ... moreWell, yes, that is one model. Even though, technically, is not really a flagship (that one is the OnePlus 10 Pro). But, of course, it has a SD8+ gen 1.
Another one could be the Asus Zenfone 9, but is rather small phone for my tastes. If Asus will release a Pro or Ultra model, it will be better for me.
Another option could be to wait for the S23 Ultra (if the rumors are correct and they will use only SD chipsets this time around). But, I wanted to buy new phone in December. The S23 Ultra will be available maybe since February.
I will see. But anyway, is good that other manufacturers are putting nice models on the market too.

If they will price it correctly in Europe (that means less than Sony, Apple or Samsung flagships), I might consider this as my next phone (I am looking for a nice SD8+ gen 1 phone). Even though, I am not a big fan of stock Android.
Also, hopefully Motorola improved their less than average software update policy. But, being this is their top model, I am guessing it will receive the most attention from them.
