The Android Freak, 05 Sep 2022Pixel 6 Pro is at 399.The only problem with this is that the Pixel 6 Pro is a much larger phone. Most people looking at something like the Edge 30 Neo or Pixel 6a would not be considering the Pixel 6 Pro.

I completely disagree re: the fingerprint scanner. Side-mounted is far superior than under-display in virtually every way.

Personally I can't stand under display finger print sensor, is a big downgrade, from a side mounted one, it will have an awful os update program, and terrible customer service, which seems standard now, with Motorola, I wouldn't use this, if someone gave me a brand new one, I'd see if I could sell it instead, I don't trust Motorola any more

The most important thing is the price. This could be quite good if it comes in far enough under the Pixel 6a price. I wouldn't see a reason to buy this over the 6a if it's within $50. There have already been deals getting the 6a down to $399.

We can safely assume the fingerprint scanner made its way under the panel (that should be OLED), which would be an upgrade, compared with the side-mounted sensor on the Edge 20 Lite. The photo also reveals no 3.5 mm audio jack on the bottom, which might be a disappointment for some, since the 20 Lite had it.
Once again side mounted scanner is an upgrade,
Finderprint reader under display is an downgrade because it mostly not work with certain screen protectors apart with preinstalled one from beggining with is nothing just a thin basic foil good for maybe carpet and small keys in pocket. Dropping on concrete makes display useless.

The phone with this color looks dope. 6.2 Inch screen is also great, if only it had a headphone jack & 5000 mah battery.
