not all people who use Redmi cannot afford iPhone, and not all midrange or basic phone need to be replaced every year...
I have 3 phones actually... an iPhone, a Xiaomi 10T Pro and a Xiaomi Max 3 which was from 2018 and still functioning well and served its purpose...
instead of be a fan boy, why not enjoy best of both world... maybe I will go three worlds by adding Huawei's Harmony...

I can forsee that apple will be pricier despite no "game changing " upgrade in performance and specs

I wonder if new Airpods Pro actually has bandwidth to support lossless. Hell, if they do.
Still, it is kind cringe, that Apple still clings on ALAC, thinking they can win a war, they lost decades ago by being greedy.

Airpods are only good for calls but not for music. A cheap pair of JBL sounds miles better. But if you speak about Sony Jabra Bose Sennheiser they will kill Airpods with a rocket launcher.

You can buy a flagship and keep it for 5-6 years, it is better than buying low midranges every year if after 5+6 years, money spent is same.
Also, less e-waste ...
Redmi note users use redmi note because iphone are out of their reach. Otherwise none of them would buy this crap.

I wouldn't pay 1200 quid for a phone simply because I have a functional brain and not because I can't afford it. I have never purchased an Apple iphone or ipad because as a company, they are anti consumer. If you need this explained, you clearly don't understand how Apple operates. I spent 1400 euros on a laptop recently. State of the art but it does a hell of a lot more than a phone so I didn't mind it. If you want to line their pockets, knock yourself out but don't have a go at people who don't appreciate being mugged off. The only company in the world that offers a one year guarantee on a phone that is primarily sold on two year contracts. My Poco f3 will last me years. My Redmi note 8 pro is also in perfect condition as is my infinix zero 8i. Phones that ostensibly don't have a picture of an apple on the back of the phone but do pretty much the same thing as the 1300 quid iphone. You do realize that apple's markup is 200 to 300%. If you want to be exploited and viewed as a fool by apple, good on you. Doesn't make you special so don't look down your nose at people who prefer to use their money frugally.
