for people who dont know. not including the charger according to apple reduces the amount of waste they make (plastic and cardboard ect.). which is not true when it comes to electronic waste. they evem doubled on the electronic waste they made since they sold the charger separately.
what apple really benefits from? shipping a thinner product without charger reduces the cost of shipment because they can fit more in a container. (like a box for example, they can fit twice as many phones without the charger because of the thinner box). and making more money from the charger itself which already costs way too much for a 20w charger brick with type c. (samsung's charger does the same).

All governments of the world should do the same thing and ban every phones that don't come with a charger!

As far as I know, the latest Xiaomi series in my country (12 series) all have 65W or 120W chargers in the box. The same goes for Redmi series. I bought recently a cheap Redmi phone (as my secondary work phone) and that one has 33W charger + cable in the box.
Also, as far as I know, the Chinese companies that will not provide chargers in the box in future, they will provide this chargers for free, to people that request them. So, is totally not the same as Samsung or Apple cases, which remove the chargers only for profit reasons.

Nice. I hope they could implement this in other countries and also to other manufacturers.
This phone companies should understand that the people should have the final word. Sadly, many times the people minds can easily be tricked (especially the fanboys minds). So, in the end the companies just do whatever they want and just make more profit. And the official statements (like "We are doing this for the environment" and so on) are just for show of.

Nowadays even Xiaomi stopped putting chargers with phones unless you buy the previous model. I guess it is better to have a good charger and don't sell it with your phone. So when you buy a new one you can use your charger again.

This should go worldwide and include the AUX at the very least.
There are ways around an SD card, and it is not nearly as effective now that apps can't run through them but a wired headset is still far superior to BT ones.

Lol we need exactly the same Ministry of Justice here in France and in each every else contries in Europe !! I hope a such decision could be taken here in Europe, but it will never happens !!

So Apple doesn't include chargers with iPhones anymore in order to be "respectful of nature", thus reducing production of chargers and minimising the packaging. You know what Apple? In order to be respectful of nature, you really don't have to release a bunch of iPhones every year! Who really needs to change their phone every year?! Do that and the remaining companies will follow suit.
Like several of them have stopped providing chargers as well.
I've used my iPhone 7 until a month ago. Got the iPhone SE that came only with a usb-c to lightning cable. Guess what usb my iPhone 7 charger has? Right. It's useless. Luckily I had an other charger and cable laying around, so I'm using that and the cable that came with the phone is still in the box.
