Apple iPhone 14 and 14 Plus unveiled: satellite messaging, eSIM only in the US, old A15 chipset

07 September 2022
That's right, the new 6.7" non-Pro model is called "Plus". It and the 6.1" model use the A15 chip from last year and have improved cameras on the front and back.

You cannot call optical stabilization when there is no movement of the optical system.

I wish I was granted $1 for each dumb comment I read here. This tiktok generation !!

Call it IBIS or Lens-based or whatever, the end category falls into OIS since you're stabilizing the image at a hardware level. People won't know what type of OIS is in it if you just wrote "OIS" as opposed to "Sensor-shift OIS", although I doubt most wouldn't care.

Anonymous, 07 Sep 2022between those 3, I'd choose 5.8Then you would complain about the battery after overusing the device, like s22 owners.
S22 by the way is outsold by Plus and Ultra.

Dual usb C cable motorola sells here costs 1/3 of the cable UsbC /lightning Apple has own their website. Both same length.
The 20W iphone charger costs 60% more than the 20W Motorola charger.

If you can use the one from motorola, why would you buy from Apple?
          Apple does not want this.

The sensor moves. Not the lenses if they do not have OIS.
If iphone had OIS for main camera, then it would be advertised.
Only the "3x" has OIS since 12 series.

Do you have any doubt larger phones sell more?

You can make 3 phones with same specs, just changing screen size and battery required.
              For example 5,8" , 6,3" and 6.8".
The 5.8" will never be best seller among the three, no matter if costs 30-40% less.

The reason why iPhone 14 is this expensive in Europe is because the dollar/euro ratio is almost 1:1 which has never happened so far. That means that everything that gets exported from US to Europe and gets converted to euro along the way is going to be more expensive in euro currency and since majority of local European currencies are tied to euro it means it will get more expensive across the whole Europe whether that country uses euro or its own currency. Also prices of everything has gone up which is result of covid and war
