Which is now irrelevant now on the process of ditching even the tiny punch hole some point. So doesn't matter how much more animation Apple has for that pill has, completely outdated and ugly now.
And thanks for sharing this image otherwise I never confirmed that Apple does pay non real tech reviewers i.e mkbhd types daily life tech bloggers.
I hold all three devices , it's can be noticed that the pill is sitted blow than the notch even in naked eyes.
How heavily manipulated that picture is from phone arena! Even can be seen side by side on pictures.
And don't worry I know you. You're the guy whom I corrected before for saying false information about chiplet design of processor and the cross bandwidth between it. As you awfully gave false info about Nvidia nvlink cross bandwidth.

It worked, but it was pretty basic approach. Here, notifications are integral part of the pill and they really executed it well without compromising FaceID experience. I may hate on lame vanilla iPhone 14, but not gonna lie, they actually did a good job with the pill cutout.
Just too bad I'm most certainly not paying 1300€ for it. I've decided I'm not going to pay 4 digit price tag for a phone. Any phone of any brand. Might even go with "cheap and cheerful" again and stick with mid rangers after having flagships most of the time.

About ... moreS10 and other phones released roughly at the same time had an option to paint the entire notification black to hide the cut-out completely at the expense of the top bezel thickness. This "island" expands or contracts depending on the types and the number of notifications. They are simply taking different approaches to make sure the cutout blends in with the rest of the screen - neither one is better than the other.

You don't have to lie to justify your point lol. 13 Pro's notch and 14 Pro's pill sits at exactly the same level, and the pill takes up less space than the notch. The viewing experience when watching 21:9 videos will be more or less the same between the two.

As usual the islanded pill takes up more vertical space than the notch - this was a trend Apple shouldn't have followed.
The rest of it is still a pass from me, this does not tempt me to move to iOS in any way, I tried it recently and found it lacking. Nothing in iPhone 14 or iOS 16 changes my opinion.

This is nonsense, i upgraded from 11 Pro to 13 Pro and the difference is huge for eyes who do photography and know what to look for. Especially in lower light the difference is night and day.

The iPhone shoots better video than the Alexa35, with it's class leading processing and best smartphone sensor ever produced.
Apple stop the hype and please improve things, without making so much noise about it. And while you're at it, please stop rjay strange tint that all the photos have. The videos are pretty colour accurate without that oversaturation, but all photos looks oversaturated with that strange colour tint.

Dynamic Island looks nice but is actually not practical.. Now everything is at the top and out of reach from the thumb.. U can't even answer call with one hand now.. Have to use second hand to reach the Island to answer.. Sigh.. This is how apple works.. Design over practicality.. Brand over functionality

About Android OEM, old S10 had similar approach to hide their pill. Apple copied it for more worse positioned island. Now for android OEMs it's irreverent to think about punch hole because it got smaller than ever. Has very minimal destruction.
