The problem is consumers have made the mobile phone commodity become a necessity. When it is not. Transportation is a necessity. Food, housing, jobs education etc are necessities and or assets....you invest in them and they fuel returns. You invest in a home and it provides for you. A mobile phone is simply a toy.

I still own a Nokia Lumia 920 works the same as it did the day it was born. Why waste money on the latest and greatest when you have billions of greatests to choose from on Ebay for fraction of it. You could buy 5 Motorola phones on ebay one for every family member and make 2 car payments for that.

As good as the new devices are (I'm referring to the Pro & Pro Max only), this unprecedented price hike put them another category altogether.
This isn't premium pricing anymore, this is luxury pricing. Mate 50 RS Porsche Design pricing, Oppo Find X Lamborghini, that kind of stuff.
Except the iPhones aren't that, they're just premium devices that should be sold everywhere for their USD MSRP equivalent.
Can you believe Apple announced on stage that the prices would stay the same as last year ?
1869EUR vs USD1399 for a 14 Pro Max 512GB.
Except this phone isn't worth a penny more than 1399EUR.

It seems Poland is wealthier than the UK, Germany, Italy, France and Ireland as not only our prices have risen well above all other regions - a straight conversion of PLN to GBP or euro shows that the same phone bought in Poland is more expensive. Well done

Processor, battery are same. Couldn't tell difference between camera samples too. So yeah iPhone 13 is better choice.

It's about the balance in specs and usage. Nothing comes close to the Z Fold4 in that.

We pay alot to get the best multimedia, gaming, web surfing and general app usage experience ever. An iPhone 14 is just the same old boring usage as it is with earlier iPhones. Aka nothing new, no innovation and no new and exciting ways of using the devices.

Oh noes, i'm making a point that the iPhone 14 Pro Max is extremely expensive and are up in the price territory of the Z Fold 4, which by the way is the most expensive phone out now. And then gives a reason why the Z Fold4 probably are a much better buy considering what you actually get.
It's about the total package on what you get where the Z Fold4 is pretty much impossible to beat right now, until the iPhone Fold comes out.
*No-one cares the fold 4! So go to fold 4 section and help there, it has currently 2.5% daily viewing percent and 168 comments since the phone got it’s specs page, i mean seriously 168 comments! 😂*
Ofc there isn't very many who cares about the Z Fold4, because it's a totally new and unexplored device to many. Not only that, but the price is also a factor in that. But because Samsung want to have the Z Fold and Z Flip phones to be the mainstream phones in 2025, then guess what Samsung have to do before they can achieve that?
Yes, they have to lower the price on both devices quite alot. The Z Flip needs to be around 799 dollar and the Z Fold around 1299 dollar.

I wouldn't mind grabbing 14 Pro Max for 1100 eur and switching to Apple's ecosystem for the first time in my life. But after seeing 32% difference in US vs EU prices, I don't think so.
