Same design externally for years a change to pro with this pill placed in the wrong spot so when you watch video it breaks the view and sky high prices for Europe maybe we will teach them a good lesson in Europe

The increase in Europe is in line with the Euro depreciation and pound depreciation against the US$ in the past year (over 15%). Chinese manufacturers have been doing the same thing this year as the Chinese rmb is largely tied to the US$. A weak Euro is also not good for these companies that have their main costs in rmb/US$ as it might reduce their units shipped in Europe. Of course it's worse again for European consumers

I think non-pro models are not worth to buy and the sweet spot is iPhone 14 pro.

Best smartphone in eu is now upcoming Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G
Price is lower than expensive phones(could be even lower) but price will drop by Christmas
It is best looking phone and completely enough

I mean retailers hiked up the prices of Samsung phones when foldable ones went up in price at launch this year, and now same retailers hike up the iphone prices.
We could argue Apple is at fault but for retailers they are not, those guys have old stock they got at older prices, and now they hike it up more because they can.
It's like when the whole GPU mining madness has started, I knew people that worked at stores that got GPUs for MSRP, but because "other stores" did sell them at infalted prices, they did that too.
Same stores are punished now by having to sell their stock at a loss though, because prices have dropped.

13, 13 Mini and 12 keep their old price, so technically they are more expensive because the price never went down like in previous years.
But if some think deeper about it, iPhone cost more in EU due to weak euro, and honestly as someone who has to import a lot of stuff and pay in US dollars, that is not funny.
Really I hope euro goes back up quickly, because being on par with the dollar is really BAD for anybody.

Lol, in Czech Republic they increased even the second hand prices for iPhones. For example, a second hand iPhone X or iPhone Xs are more expensive than they were couple of months ago.
I was actually waiting for iPhone 14 series to appear, in order for prices of older iPhones to get cheaper. Now, it looks is not the case anymore.
If Android manufacturers will not follow this trend in the near future, I will never buy an iPhone again. They are too greedy in my opinion.

In Sweden prices went up for AirPods too
And both 12 and 13 models are more expensive than last year
1200 usd for regular 14
1050 usd for 13
900 usd for 12
650 usd for SE

there are luckily plenty of good non Poco/Xiaomi/Realme/OPPO phones under 250 euro, because imagine you work at a place that has a policy of not allowing these brands (because high security risks)
AND BEFORE SOMEONE STARTS ABOUT IT
For regular users a Xiaomi or Poco are fine, but not if your work has to do with governmental stuff.

Not to mention that after the Apple event, in some countries (like Hungary) Apple itself made a price increase on older models!
For example, yesterday Iphone 13 was ~820 USD, today it is ~885 USD.
It is absolutely ridiculous!!
Also, Iphone 14 started at ~1135 USD...smh
