Pls I’m yet to know what app that’s available for the iPhone 11 that the XR can’t run , even the 8 plus , since all can run iOS 16.
It’s very wrong to call anyone’s iPhone cheap because people have much bigger issues to attend to than phones . I’m sure even though you had a 14 this year , it would become obsolete next fall.
I own my house and I use an 8 Plus. FYI.
Not everyone is Phone Crazy like you.

I use an iPhone 8 Plus with iOS 16 installed and it’s been very well. I run apps including high graphic games and it’s perfect . I’m not sure your issue is a RAM issue.
Everyone knows a 6GB RAM on an iPhone would out perform a 12GB or even 16 GB RAM on an Android. No disrespect to Android here.

Anyway, it was tested that an Android tablet with more memory outperformed an iPad with less memory in split-screen multitasking. In my opinion, the way Android manages memory is better. It's suitable for true multitasking, which should be the focus.
