Why feel the need to repeat what I already acknowledged? The bigger question is that worth 50% (that is not a 'little more expensive' btw) more? I think most people would think not.
It's ironic that you mentioned Xiaomi being mostly gimmick, when the Nothing has the top gimmick of the year in the back LED strips. The friend that trying to sell me his Nothing said he got bored of the Glyph and never think it's that cool after 2 weeks. Go figure.

Onanymaus, 14 Sep 2022I can see the appeal of 50%* less expensive Poco X4 GT with... moresure nothing phone is a little expensive for what it offers but it is an all-rounder phone it may not top the charts in any category but it doesn't lack either in these aspects, for example, x4 gt has more powerful soc but 778 in nothing is not slow either maybe 25% slower but still acceptable while poco on other hand may have a high 108/64 mp cameras on spec list but all poco phones (i have seen till f3 & x3 pro) had terrible cameras while nothing had a much better cameras and the skin is just a personal preference but i am not a huge fan of miui
i am not saying you are wrong but people have different preferences not every one is a gamer , an avg user will prefer a more uniform experience .
i am maybe a little baised but in my observation xiaomi phones just give you best soc for price but every thing else in their phone is sort of gimmick one way or another

Is this the phone for me?
Not at all, maybe for someone else, but I really dont want to spend this amount for something like this
