Why do they waste resources b... moreNo, why, i have a 1080p TV, and i use the chromecast TV, my tv is 8 years old and i have no plan to upgrade, so yea alot of people have 1080p still. and chromecast TV best part is i can take it with me for example when i go to the summer house.

        Nah, I'll still stick with my Chromecast 2.

          TBH:

          1. Maybe you don't have the money
          2. Even with this, you don't have a 4k TV and the extra hardware will not be used anyway
          3. Even with this... Maybe a simpler Chromecast can be useful for someone else (like for my parents)
          4. this is me: if they solves the freaking battery hogging the remote does on the new version, I'll buy them on a blink of an eye. This is the main reason I don't use mine on my home, using an Amazon Fire TV on main TV and Realme Stick on my home office place

                For just $10 more you get 4K support and more storage. Not really sure why anyone would buy this one while the other exists. Maybe they will run sales often to make the price come in much lower.
