I couldn't stand how horrible it... morewhat's wrong with the s22? it has a perfect compact design unlike most xiaomi/vivo/oppo/oneplus phones who make big phones for no particular reason. having a phone feel comfortable in the hand is way better feeling, plus all the bazels sizes are symetrical, giving a top notch design for a low price. the only problem is the exynos cpu but yeah

Prices of these phones are delusional. I can't imagine spending more than 300€ for a chinese phone, ever. I think someone overplayed their hand. Not to say that Samsung or Apple (and Sony, Motorola and also Lg) are not delusional, but the first two can probably get away with it, while others are looking ridiculous. So does Xiaomi.

the very act of including 2mp macro camera and not headphone jack shows that these OEMs has 0 regards for product improvement and all they care about is making profit, since an extra camera is enough to grab this idiotic population's attention. What a classic example of exploiting people's idiocy! I feel absolutely no sympathy for these idiots lacking intuition and common sense since they're responsible for their own downfall.
However, I do care a lot about myself no longer being able to find a phone according to preference. Both Xperia 5iv and Zenfone 9 are still too expensive, and their next iteration may not even have headphone jacks! Flagship killers no longer include headphone jacks or even flagship processor!
Maybe in when brand new Xperia 5iv and Zenfone 9 are cheap enough it will be time to upgrade. Can't decide between 8+ gen 1 and microSD slot though! Sony, why did you have to do this to what possibly is your last flagship with a headphone jack??
Only if we could build a phone like PC!

Fox, 16 Sep 2022850 euro for 12T Pro. Better old 11T PRO for 400.Not really point to buy 1 year plus old phones from Xiaomi at 400 plus euro. For that price is better to go with Xiaomi middle class phones that are just released cause they have longer time period of security and android update support. As even for flagships Xiaomi probably only give 2 android updates and something 2 years of security updates so there is no point to buy old models

There is only big phones in the market so they dont even know what people want.
There is also a lot of people who have 5-10 years old phones in use cause they cant have any compact new phone as there is only like Apple Iphones that are compact. All the so called compact phones on android are 5.9-6.1 inch and they are all on the same size like Zonfone 8-9 have 5.9 inch screen but on the body size is same like S22 with 6.1 inch screen.
And these are still too big to be called compact. Basically everything that is over 145mm tall cant be called compact. And market have 0 option for that.
What do they really know what market wants ? People have no choice to show what they want if they can get only tablets for phones. And all the modern compacts are only flagship.
Even Xiaomi Redmi series that was very budget somewhat compact with 5.45 inch screen with bezels turned to 6.2 and then later on 6.6 inch screens.
Samsung A40 was compact and then they made A41 that is already bigger but still compact enough. And then with A42 it went as big as all the rest of the phones.
When my mom wanted new phone cause her LG Leon was done for she had no choice what so ever and went with A41 cause there was already A42 released and your could not find any A40 in the market to buy one.
I have also Redmi note 5 AI Dual Cam as the EU version of 5 Pro and it's like 4 years and 5 months old for me and i still dont want to buy new phone cause there is nothing in the market for up to 250 euro that is compact as 159mm tall phone for me is too big just like this note 5 pro is just too big for me and i need a bag to carry it around as i dont have pockets that fit it and. If i get the phone fully in my pants pocket then my one leg is like wooden stick. It's just annoying that market have no compacts so where is this coming that people dont want compact phones ?? There is no R&D done for what people want and people have no other choice when they need new phone to just buy a phablet cause that is the only choice as there are a lot of people who are not willing to spend a lot for a phone in the first place and it's not cause of can afford or not. There are ways to buy these expensive close to 4 digits price phones with 24 months contract but that makes no sense for a lot of people.

Tnerb, 17 Sep 2022I was excited for the 12T Pro but with a price like this...... moreK50 was for China and it dont have the European bands for internet and probably other features too so they rebrand it for EU later then the K series for China is released. I would say be happy that we even get it. It's not like Sharp that does phones for only Japan or like 15 years ago or so when Japan had the best camera phones and best hardware for there own market and didnt give anything on that level for the rest of the world.

For them, it's not possible to fit a headphone jack, but very much possible to fit 2mp macro cameras.

Nearly a decade ago, smartphones were already equipped with 13 MP rear cameras.
My first phone has 8 MP rear cam back in 2012.
Of course, the 200MP on the 12T Pro as the main cam was added to compensate for the 2 MP modules. But honestly, who will store 200MP photos? Only a few.
What I really like is a 24MP ultrawide and 50MP main. No 2 MP macro.
