Every phone/tablet release from China from every major brand is always covered (if gsmarena knows about it). They also review China only devices sometimes, usually when given them by the manufacturers e.g. Xiaomi 12s ultra, Oppo find n, Xiaomi mix fold 2. I don't think there's any problem with it. It's a business after all and if they only covered 'global devices' there would be far less news and traffic. Surprised you only noticed it now!
