Leaked Tensor G2 details examined: same CPU, everything else is getting better

The CPU will have the same cores as the original, just with a mild clock speed bump. But there is a new GPU, TPU, ISP and modem.

Even Samsung itself abandoned its chips and went to tscm, apple, Qualcomm etc etc, who comes to collect Samsung's garbage? Google!!! to assemble a phone as cheaply as possible to sell it 5 times more expensive than its normal value! come on Google! maybe for pixel 8/tensor 3 you will do better

    Shame on Google, even Samsung won't use their own garbage chip. But GSMarena won't fail to rate these above Zenfone 9, a phone that actually deserve the highest rating.

      X1 and A76 CPU but with 4nm lithography? Thisis interesting. Maybe Google stick with them because they give the best balance between performance and thermal? I don't know.

                          If there's one thing Samsung can't manufacture up to world-class standards, that's chipsets.

                          Why Google picked them instead of TSMC is beyond me.

                          Still, if they manage to enough customise the old Exynos design, they might get the most out of it. But they'll still be miles behind what they could've done with a TSMC manufactured-chip.

                          I'm talking lesser battery life, performance, and efficiency. This affects pictures quality too, as well as network reception, and pretty bad thermals as well.

                          Using an Exynos based design is a complete garbage choice with no upside whatsoever !

                          TSMC would be more than happy to have Google as a customer, so i guess G just cheaped out.
