That's your choices but I preferred plastic over glass/aluminium. My S3 is still like new after 8 month. My friend 2 month old iphone 5 has so much scratch on the back it's so ugly. Hes a died hard Apple fan boy but after his iPhone 5 experience he want to go for xperia Z or S4. Guest what he don't want Htc one because of his experience with aluminium.

After using S3 for at least 4 months now. I'm looking forward for a new replacement, but what in the world is doing? Another complete and utter "PLASTIC-FEST CLAD PHONE".
Damn!!, I guess my money is well worth going for Sony XPERIA Z or maybe HTC One. Samsung really needs to invest in better materials.

I believe that the international version will get the octa-core and the north american version will get the snapdragon. Just like how we got gimped with the S3.

Onex, lumia 920 , xperia z all use plastic what's the problem. We can all see now that apple is a noob when it's come to mobile because of they material choices. Not good for customers that want to keep is phone more than 1 years.

Not solid enough? buy a case!!!
Plastic is best all around. Period. The addition of aluminum together with plastic is interesting tho... guess we'll see...

Look at iphone4/4s that break easy and iphone 5 scratch aluminium body. Htc one will get scratch like iphone 5 because of aluminium. :-)

It still looks and functions as good as it did when I bought it. I play games on it now and then, text frequently, skype almost 2hrs every day, write my grocery lists and do spreadsheets and/or word on it.
People like you should stop cramming your smartphones with shytloads of games and bloatware only to cry and complain about poor battery and lag.
You want to play games hard core? Get a gaming pc/laptop or console, if you cant afford one do without the prolonged gaming.
You want to run all the apps in the world including the ones you dont need? Buy a pc and two 16gb corsair ram sticks and have fun with about 8gb to spare at any given moment, if you cant then dont complain about lag.
A smartphone is like your personal secretary(well, to me) its not a friggin console or gaming PC/laptop or bulletproof vest that can run any and everything and protect you from a 50 caliber.

Dont buy S-IV in first lot. I bought the S-III the day its got release as after 6 months it was dead. Apparently all first lot mother board was getting dead after 6 months.
I guess every one on this planet is after consumers money, Sam, Apple......you name - there is no customer service in the heart of business.
Also S-III is cheap plastic in back and silver lining around the front screen has AUTOMATICALLY cracked at three place - sams explanation that I am putting extra pressure on phone - Absolute rubbish.
Ironically, same with Iphone 5 - came with scratches in box itself and Apple says - this is acceptable.
All just need money.....so can make there share prices up but forgets that we are the one who is bringing the food on to table of every director of both company.
