The front display can extend horizontally on demand, but when closed the extra part is a secondary rear display.

Such a shame that LG shutdown its mobile division due to some pathetic maketing Dept and distribution, even when they had a great product like the V60, it was not rolled out in Aus or Asia broadly or half roll out, what were they thinking roll out the Velvert but not the Second screen in Aus, hence it was a failure. I would have bought a V60 if they actually released it in Aus but they never did;(

Great R&D Dept let down by poor global Marketing and distribution. After all the money spent they never got to release the Rollables; would take this over my Fold4 anyday! Shame no other chinese company would take over their great R&D development team (e.g LG gave us first Wide-angle camera, Quad DAC, V60, Rollables, Wings all very innovative) wasted all that talent and R&D money, hence gone. Very sad, I hope LG can make a comeback, till have my LG V20, V30 & imported Velvet :((

    Looks very usable! If only LG would bring back its mobile division. They need to bring out better and faster software updates, and have a competent sales department

        This is amazing phone. How smooth it is and amazing to look at the expanding screen. So sad LG left the mobile world. I hope LG will be back with such innovative phones

            I really missed LGs , still rocking my G7/8 devices specially after G8 got A12 such a good surprise from a dead company

              God hopes they come back soon enough. Current market is terrible.

              Your only choices are Samsung gimmick devices with high prices and poor feature set, Xperia's full feature set but high price tag, Chinese OEM selling the same device with like 5 different names and minimal changes between them, and then, there's HMD/HTC which are more dead than ever.

              I dont mention Motorola there bc I honestly dont know what they are doing. One year, they release a flagship with good specs, only for the next year having only midranges releases from them...

                  Sure I appreciate the tech, but imagine the price tag on this device. People freaked out about the 1st gen Galaxy Fold, and this first gen rollable device by LG would have freaked out a lot of people.

                  I also wished that LG would have stayed, but the fact is, LG was losing so much money by making phones, that they closed down.

                            This is why I love tech. Shame that LG gave up on this.
