fastanddubious, 22 Sep 2022I stopped reading at 720G 😒Same.

I want Snapdragon 870 bare minimum these days. Or even Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 since 888 and 8 Gen 1 aren't as efficient. The 8+ Gen 1 might be the best chip since 835/845. But it would probably cost like $800 bare minimum.

    Stillborn.

fastanddubious, 22 Sep 2022I stopped reading at 720G 😒Sd 720G isnt a problem, but price is a problem. $150 to $200 would be fair. Ayn Odin has Dimensity 900 for $200.

Overpriced, buying steam deck make much more sense or build your own PC even it's not the most powerful or recently released one

          I stopped reading at 720G 😒

So basically a second hand switch is the better choice for gaming. Hopefully Logitech will do it better next time.!

Penk2856, 22 Sep 2022I mean, even latest Pentium Gold beats any 3rd gen Coreyeah, not always available in some countries for new processor.

rizki1, 22 Sep 2022does that mean i5 3rd gen decent then?I mean, even latest Pentium Gold beats any 3rd gen Core

                  Penk2856, 22 Sep 2022i3 3rd gen = decent PC???yes but for only light usage

Qimchi, 22 Sep 2022Everything was alright until it mentioned 4G only. Most pla... moreI Googled it and apparently the biggest improvement of 5G over 4G is latency rather than speed. So what you're saying makes sense. LTE can go up to 400Mbps and LTE Advanced can go up to 1000Mbps, but the fastest I've seen my LTE in USA was around 60Mbps when it first came out and no one used it. In 2021 I was getting between 8 and 20Mbps. I moved to The Netherlands and I frequently get 50Mbps. I have 3 5G phones, but I've never lived in a 5G service aread to know how big of a difference it is. I would get 5G on my Pixel 5a sometimes in Houston and I saw it around 30 - 50Mbps. I should clarify, I don't get 5G in NL because I don't pay for the service. The 4G is speedy enough for me here.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2022funny how the "snapdragon 720" is burried in the ... moreI actually don't think the Snapdragon 720 is bad for something that is geared towards game streaming, but atleast a 750 would have been preferred. I've tried gaming sometimes with an external controller and it always feels super clunky. The Stadia controller works well though. I would say this device probably should be priced closer to $200 rather than $350, but I'm sure they also want to make a profit too. I have a feeling this thing will be slow to catch on and will wind up taking a few price hits until it is under $300.

I'm gonna be real... I actually think this is LIT. I may even buy it. But there is a problem. The phone you always carry is better for portable gaming compared to a secondary device. This is better for playing anywhere at places you are often at.

And yes, 5G is supposed to have lower latency, though I suppose that depends on your local network.
