S22U here charges quite faster now with the 45 Watts brick compared to 25w. I mean its way more then this 1% seen everywhere.
Both chargers are the latest ones from Samsung.
The right cable is important!

Anything more than 15min for full 0 to 100% charge is blasphemy for a "flagship".
When 200+W existits this is unacceptable. I wouldn't use this even it were free.
Same as with pixel6 that i got. The worst phone I ever had.

The right cable is important too, i dont know what specifications they are , but i know that some of my cables are faster then others.
Samsung and Apple are wise to better be safe then sorry regarding charging and they try to care a bit for durabilty too as their devices have more support then any other brands and this way have longer lives, so the battery has to not degrade too fast.
Most other brands from China do not have these problems of caring for safety or durability on the level of an Apple or Samsung. They are often not dangerous nor do their batteries die quickly, but, cmon 100 watt charging never is more durable or safer. Never.

Relatively slow charging, and the charger is STILL not included in the box.

My P30 Pro ha... moreSure, it isn't slow for a 25W charger, but by that logic a Galaxy S7 isn't slow for how old it is, which is also true, but it doesn't make it objectively fast. I would say anything that takes about 40 minutes or less to be fully charged is fast. 50W should be the minimum for flagships in 2022 and especially 2023.

For example,... moreas i said, realistically, how many flagship phone users keep there phones beyond 24-36 months? the benefit of superfast charging definitely ouftweighs battery longevity . I find superfast charging super necessary when I am traveling. If battery life on a samsung device is similar to an iphone, it wiold have been forgivable, but no android flagship rivals the iphone

Yext, 26 Sep 2022That is very slow.For a 25W charger I think it is not that bad. My P30 Pro has 40W peak, and it is not faster to be honest(and the S22 Ultra has a bigger battery), but still a 50W, 60W would be better.

Simply something that is better than what Samsung can offer and the phones with this feature are almost always cheaper than the S22 Ultra, even if you have to import them. My iQOO 5 Pro lasts at least 1,5 days if not 2 days on one charge, but it's just so much better to plug it in for 10 minutes so it's fully charged before I go to sleep, so I don't have to charge it overnight.
