45w charging that's a couple of minutes quicker to charge than what s22u currently achieves is realistic to achieve.

They only care about high numbers. And also those who are complaing are not the buyer for Samsung, they never buys Samsung but like to complain and suggest for worse idea to implement. Also Samsung now supports their phone for 5 year, so battery need have good life span for that long, unlike 2 to 3 years those fanboys brand support.

Hemedans, 24 Sep 2022It does harm your battery, its fun fanboys dont want to acc... moreI am speaking from my own experience, I own about 30 smartphones, the ones with slower charging show the biggest difference in their battery life compared to when they were new. I only charge my phones with their own original charger, if that's not possible, then some other high quality charger. What I believe is the longer the charging cycle takes the more heat it generates. For example my old S8 being charged with the original 15W charger it came with is always hot during charging, while my iQOO 5 Pro stays cold.

Get over... moreIt does harm your battery, its fun fanboys dont want to accept it while even Oems themselves admit it.
The more the heat the more you kill your battery. If your fast charger dont overheat then your are fine, this also apply to normal chargers if it overheat your phone battery life span would decrease.

Where am from people use shoe glue to put phone display intact after heating and remove it. Make sense to change battery frequently if you have genuine service centre nearby.

The worst thing is that Google in the pixel 7 pro is going to imitate this also in Samung, oh but not to put an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor like Samsung, the cheap optical garbage yes... pfff, I hope the pixel 7 pro comes with a load fast 45w at least

Samsung: Stop gaslighting people with junk. I have a Note10+ and think of pushing till S24. They need to sell less phones to feel the pain. It's getting stupid. GSMArena: you need to speak up, or are you afraid they won't send you phones for reviews or invitations to events!!??

It is already proven - by the time this "faster death" is actually noticeable, the vast majority of people would have swapped their phone, 2-3 years in nowhere near enough to wear out a battery significantly enough to call fast charging a bad thing.
If you do 5 years, sure, but considering how cheap a battery replacement is (or just a reasonable battery bank), the tradeoff of having your battery fully charge in 20-30 minutes is highly welcome. I have not had to leave my phone charging overnight in years after this tech was implemented.

Man you more funny than i expected.
Calling tons of useless bbloatware amazing software is RIDICULOUS.
Motorola or Google or Nothing or OnePlus with pure android experience or close to stock android who dont force customers to have their diskspcace bloated with useless apps such as bixby as samsung brownser as samsung key notes as samsung many else are the best.
I dont mind if you like bloated software in the phone but please its a lot better if phone comes with minimum software and icons where any customer can install whatewer they want than fill the phone with tons of crap and then it will be sluggish, laggy, buggy with lots of disk space, ram eaten and overheating CPU due to a lots of bloatware running on the backround.
