Moondrop Aria vs Snow Edition comparison

I recently bought the Aria SE and I wanna know which setting provides the intended/better tuning/response!
Since my phone (X7 Max) has "Dolby Atmos" and different settings/profiles within it, I wish to know if I should simply disable it or keep it on and then tweak the EQ (it's only available with DA enabled).

imparanoic, 26 Sep 2022moondrop will also release planar iems soon, but i worry ab... moreI never worry about leakage, as I listen at home. ANC is great to have on the (loud) road... Not to mention no amp needed, tho I got pretty portable one, I wouldn't enjoy music with all that noise anyway.

Hmmm, interesting, my pair of Quarks is definitely worth ~$10 with proper tips😅
And...I just got a pair(two, actually) of NEX602 because of how shockingly good and easy to drive they are at ~$20 a pair w/o box. They're almost perfect for instrumentals w/o EQ and could also benefit from a strongly mid-forward EQ depending on the vocals and recording/mastering(yes this seems to vary from region to region w/o a universal standard)

imparanoic, 26 Sep 2022sounds you like KZ sound signature, moondrop is balancedNever used one of them. I mean in general. But yes I like bassy sound. I use Fiio FH3. Very powerful sound.

I know that sound signatures can be different but I always boost bass to enjoy it more and to get rid of sharp treble.
