            But it is real fact the iphone is much more expensive to make because of the amount of custom pieces.

            Simple iphone 13 pro 128GB has hardware of over $500. Not even its final cost. Just the pieces. Imagine the 1TB version of Pro Max.

            Point is. To sell pixel 7 for $600, surely this device has to be way cheaper to be made. No one is gonna sell phone like this for $100-150 margin only. Not even a $400 midrange has this short margin.

            Complete phone for $1200-1500 is better deal than capped phone for $700-850.

                        In EU where price of 14 Pro Max is close to 1500€, this 900€ Pixel 7 Pro, if true, is actually really good deal. Maybe not fastest chipset, but everything else top notch.

                          They complicate it so that you cannot repair yourself. That is what increases the costs too. The amount of screws that hold down just the charging assembly of the iPhone are equal to all screws in a Samsung/Google phone.
                          If the case was reverse and iphone was cheaper, you would've made the case of high cost of Pixel. Troll.... :D

                            I'm not going to criticize the 7 pro because I'll still end up buying it, something is happening to me on android, there are so many options and at the same time they are so disappointing that you don't even know what to get into! the iphone, i will give it one more generation for the type c port, and perhaps the elimination of the physical volume buttons, it is time to remove those ugly buttons from the sides, as huawey did with the mate 30 pro

                              Hardware must be so cheap to be able to sell at this price.
                              If even crap iphone 13 128GB costs more than $450 of final price (BoM+ other costs) and retailed for $800 unlocked, imagine how cheap it is to be bit above $600.

                              I'd rather pay $500-600 more for better hardware.
