Jony JSV, 13 Oct 2022Those wires and cabkes attached to the VR headset is defini... morethere are dongles with magnets or without you can attache to the console and then a long cable in it. so the long cable would be removed from secured small dongle.
Since long cable is plugged to ps vr2 we can expect upgrade wifi to it in future (probably)
Now cable gives us best graphics and frames...

Those wires and cabkes attached to the VR headset is definitely a deal break and possibly a console breaker if u accidentally pulled on it while playing. Why cant they just go wireless like Quest 2 or other current VR headsets? 😫

But the general experience is enjoyable and could be better :)

GregLu, 04 Oct 2022I did have the PS VR on PS4 Pro and the tech was great, but... moreHonestly i think its the wire stuff and the gameplay wise that microsoft doesnt do it. Think they are waiting for maybe bluetooth to evolve even better to then make a vr that connects like a controller with bluetooth and it works with no delay or very little delay of action and watever. Maybe to not have 500 wires. And anything else idk.

The thing is that I wouldn't be confident that PS VR2 is going to be a runaway success, to the extent that Motion Controls were on the Nintendo Wii. For it to have any chance, Sony must produce really high quality first-party games for it, market the heck out of it, and entice big firms into making some really compelling third-party titles. Anything less and you know it won't be a hit/home run.

BrianCoriour, 03 Oct 2022Didnt microsoft say. That the reason xbox doesnt do VR yet ... moreI did have the PS VR on PS4 Pro and the tech was great, but the cable and all, very much not. I was eager to see the VR2 but I guess to have something that I'll like, I'll wait for VR3, if Sony produce even a PS6 or if everything would be in the cloud by that time 😁

PMKLR3m, 03 Oct 2022Buy 3070 under its msrp. Or maybe even 3060tiOr go the smart choice and choose AMD or even Intel Arc if the driver are perfected (which they are, apparently 🌞)

With the global crisis and the PS5 price increase very few people are going to buy this. The first PSVR was only bought buy 5% of PS4 owners which was terrible.

Didnt microsoft say. That the reason xbox doesnt do VR yet is cuz of it not being that good right now. Not many devs are making big games with it but that actually works really good. I think FPS would be the best but they should also make something u can run on all directions but stay in 1 spot and it detects you when you crouch, go prone and so on. But yea.
