Google has a solid phone! I am a person that values design very much and this phone is beautiful and distinctive. When it comes to raw power, I wish that this phone had Adreno, it's simply better for emulation, that's the only gaming I would ever do on an Phone.
But for most People, this is a solid Android alternative to Samsung.

It’s good that the 7 got smaller, and that they kept the more ergonomic rounded sides. But I think it‘s still too big, the 4a was a great size.

GSMarena doesn't know difference between actual and equivalent focal length.
It doesn't really have a longer actual focal length, maybe very slightly longer but the extra magnification is almost completely due to smaller sensor and hence larger crop factor. It's a downgrade because 5x isn't any significant improvement than 4x, but smaller sensors perform worse, especially in low light. And it seems like a significant reduction in sensor area. A good quality 4x is better than mediocre 5x anyday.
If google was offering at least 7x optical zoom then it would be justifiable.

Pixel 6 series had problems with heating and connection stability. Unfortunately, the Pixel 7 series also used Samsung foundry manufacturing process, so I think there will still be heat.

It is still amazing how Samsung offers more software support that Google themselves.
4years of OS Updates compared to googles 3.....
As for the smartphones, they are literally the same as last year,which as usual is disappointing like most android flagships this year.
The new google tensor in terms of performance is bad.
The pixel 7 has the best value as usual although its again disappointing to see a smaller battery.

I was excited about the Pixel 7 being smaller than the 6, but it still weighs 197g which is too much :(
Just hoping they improve on the 6a properly for the 7a. The 6a still manageable in size and weight

Google staff was so proud to announce the pixel 7 duo can do HDR 10bit, just like Samsung S9, Sony XZ2 and LG G7.
I feel so happy for them.
