09 October 2022
The Pixel 7 series brings a new chipset, touched up design and camera improvements but doesn't stray too far off the Pixel 6 formula.

I'd be interested in a real 4.5" pixel with real premium hardware features. Not a 3.5mm missing abomination glass slabs with stock Android

The pixel line is too loaded with Google bloat ware and the Tensor processor is less than great.

I want one but won't be getting one. The upgrade from the Pixel 6 Pro is just not enough to really compel me to drop the money on one. I have already dropped a fair amount of money on tech this year so I'll just wait for the 8 Pro.

In my opinion, the letter G in the Google brand means God. This is because of the interest and loyalty and special class of this brand، God of mobile phone

Have been using Samsung for the longest time - got used to the bloatware and stuttering even with its newer models. Rented a Pixel 6 months to see if I would like the clean experience.... I am returning the Pixel 6 because I bought the Pixel 7 Pro. Converted

Sir-Shadow, 11 Oct 2022Talk about XiaomiXiaomi has less bloat than Samsung. Samsung has redundant bloatware.
One UI is better OS but let's not kid ourselves that Xiaomi has more bloat.

Some of the Xiaomi Apps that people consider bloat are actually System Apps that are connected to hardware itself so it can work but debloat enthusiasts don't understand that.

Once you've used the "Bloatwareless" Android system on Pixels,, you'll never go back. Can't stand my bloatware infested Samsung work phone.

I have the Pixel 5 + Fitbit Charge 4. This duo has been working well for me for the last year & a half. Having said that - I think by the time the Pixel 5 is ready to be retired, the 7a might be available. As Juan Bagnell points out, even a 7a with a Tensor chip will be an upgrade to the Snapdragon 7x.

I'm not getting it because I'm more than happy with my Pixel 6. I had a Pixel 3 before that and loved it, even if I didn't love the battery life.

Yoedi16, 09 Oct 2022In my country xiaomi and realme sell snap 870 and d810 ph... moreThe prices were more of an indication as to where they should be on the market. The cost of a phone depends on many other factors, from display, camera, to the age/discounts and the ecosystem or profit margins of the OEM and retailer. So use the prices as a tool or guide, so that you know which other chipsets are on the same tier class. So when looking at that list, you want to choose the budget first, and then aim to get the highest chipset from that stack.

                              For example;
Choose the USD $700 budget. The best processor on that scale is the MediaTek Dimensity 8000. There's a small difference to the MediTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, but a huge difference to the Samsung Exynos 1080 chipset.

edit: Maybe it's my fault, I should have given them a "rating" like 7/10 instead of $700, that perhaps would've been better.

I just pre-ordered the Pixel 7 Pro, I wanted originally the normal Pixel 7, but after release I didnt find it that compact and I really like to take photos, so I might need the more advanced camera system in the Pro. I also take very often close-up photos in work, so I needed that gimmic feature for macro as well.
I really think that the prizing is fair this year, because I couldn't justify the iPhone's prices anymore and everything's gettin expensive in Europe.

What is really awesome that I could just buy this phone on amazon.de and I have 30 days to consider it it's garbage like the 6 and 6 Pro was or I can happily keep it for the next coming years.(I am just retiring my Pixel 4 XL, which is working pretty decently apart from stutter and laggs sometimes)

On the other hand if these devices also have terrible signal reception like last years models, I will send back the device without any hesitation, for me a phone without good antenna is a useless paperweight. The ability to make calls is priority 0 in today's world for a phone!I cant afford to loose clients, because a company cant fit a 20€ modem in a phone, but puts 3 processors just to analyze AI snoring data...

Anti apple sentiment growth help any other brands sell more phones

Not gonna lie, stock Android is kind of boring to me. One Ui, MiUi, even Color OS looks nicer to me. Also, I dislike the charging time in Pixel phones. Is bad as in iPhones. Maybe they are protecting the battery in long term, but nobody has time for 100-120 minutes charging times.
But, what Google is doing with the cameras, mainly through software, is incredible. I would buy a Pixel phone just for the cameras.
