Weekly poll: the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are selling the pure Android benchmark, are you buying it?

09 October 2022
The Pixel 7 series brings a new chipset, touched up design and camera improvements but doesn't stray too far off the Pixel 6 formula.

rizki1, 09 Oct 2022yes because apple only has a flagship processor and the pho... moreTotal nonsense. Apple has flagship processor for about three generations, then the power goes to a mainstream level given the increase of performance in new phones.
And, of course, the apps work on old generations of phones, which can't be today considered flagship anymore, can they? So, what is your BS based on?

Looks promising. Just wish they wouldn't make them so huge. I preferred it when they had the normal and the XL line up, where there weren't such a big spec jump, one was just smaller and the other little bigger. I have the Pixel 4 and I like the size (5.7").

No minimum of 4 OS upgrades = no buy

I'd use a OnePlus phone before I'd ever use a Pixel.

Why anyone has faith in Google after all their shenanigans and data collection is beyond me. Their design language also sucks.

Buy after 3 months to avoid the bugs usually associated with a new Pixel.

I already preordered the Pixel 7 Pro. Coming from OnePlus 7T I am used to 3 years cycle for change of the phones. I am very disappointed with OP since the Colour OS joke they are making and the lack of alert slider on non-pro models so I am looking for a clean Android experience. I just dont trust Motorola or Asus with the support of the phone. I am fairly doubtful about the curved screen and it is almost a deal breaker for me but I will give it a go. If not there is still the Pixel 7 non-pro. My opinion - after the OP departure from Oxygen OS this is the phone to go to for clean and hopefully flawless experience

Anders, 09 Oct 2022Google aren't even in the top 10 for smartphone sales.... moreMaybe you should learn how to read, the poll says "Who wants a Pixel 7/7 Pro" not "Who will buy a Pixel 7/7 Pro".

Yeah, why not, I guess. I will give P6Pro to my father and use P7Pro instead.
Better battery life, better, smarter/faster camera .... I am automatically sold. For me, Pixel is all about that camera and some tiny features as well, I am biased and probably not a good representative of general user opinion.
