i think they will hit a good number of sales as the phone feels good with a good price in india. mostly it will be the pixel 7.

Let's just wait for pixel 7a.
If it has a 8GB 256GB option and is smaller (width, not height), I'd just go for it.
If the 7a comes in an even smaller size, then the absence of iphone 14 mini would also influence my purchase. Yes, mini size won't sell well these days, but there are people who are looking for those.

I'd buy one if they are willing to give a trade in discount on older phones, at least S8 or newer. They are already offering such low trade in values in Canada (a TIV of 290 for a P6 and 350 for a P6P) that no one will consider buying one unless they have a P4 or older.

The main good side or bad side is google software. This makes a phone better , or even worse. This issue can cause connectivity issues. I used pixel 4a. But after knowing 6pro issue i didn't buy. My pixel has connection issues. After each update it runs smoothly for 3 -4 month then again, problem start.

A. Its a fashion accessory and cool, most professional athletes and film stars use them with overhead beats headphones. (one of the worst and most expensive "mainstream" headphones)
B. They probably spend over 10 times the amount on advertising vs other phone companies which is a big factor in people's choice of products (the phychological aspect of business, studied it in college years ago).
C. They make special deals with all the major phone retailers (EE in the UK only promote apple and samsung at this point with only the best deals and extras with those phones/tablets)
D. Because of the popularity they hold their value better.
It's the same tricks they do with pop music and promoting their "brand" essentially. The companies with the most money make the most money.
