George399, 07 Oct 2022That doesn't make it inmune to criticize, fanboy And who said anything about not being allowed to criticize? You all whine about Apple 26/7 (no, not a typo), that doesn't make your criticisms any more valid or true. Mostly because most of it is just straight up BS and lies because you just can't ever say anything positive about anything Apple even though Stevie Wonder can see that it's better on iPhone. But whatever. Like I said, no one forces anyone to buy new iPhone every year. Or new Galaxy every year. I didn't feel like I need new one so I'm waiting for iPhone 15, if it's going to feel like it's worthy new model. I may also grab Galaxy S23, depending on how chipset situation will pan out in Europe, particularly with SD 8 Gen 2 instead of Exynos rumors...

As long as Motorola 30 Edge ultra for same price like Google 7 pro offers twice as much specs the Motorola is a lot better deal to go for and google just wasting the time.
Having 5 years of guaranteed updates is fine for those who keeps their devices for 5 years or more.
But from a this summer pol we all know most people swaps their device every 2-3 years.
And in that case and because of that a Motorola 30 edge ultra is much better pick compared to Google 7 pro which looks very ugly and offers a specs of half baked upper midranger.

SShock, 07 Oct 2022Then again no one forces you to upgrade every single year..... moreThat doesn't make it inmune to criticize, fanboy

hope they keep up with accessories....some cases are already out of stock

Anonymous, 07 Oct 2022hope they catchup samsung and xiaomi soonEvery year samsung sells ±300 million smartphones, 40 millions of them are from S and Z series.

Now, compared to ±4 millions unit sales of Pixel 6 series, it would take decades for Google to surpass Samsung.

They look for a good design (it has), good photos (it has), overall performance in most daily tasks (no problem). Only some kids here still whine about CPU.
It's the same as with cars - the "fans" think that all important is engine, while customers care about design, interior, space and low consumption.

Don't feel like iPhone 14 justifies the price or just the feature set sans the price, simply don't buy it. I haven't and I'm still on fairly old iPhone at this point and neither have those with iPhone 12 or 13. And same can be applied for almost any other brand.

wow maybe google satisfied using this new tensor

If there is one positive news from this, there will be huge discounts for the Pixel 7 series after Google realised they grossly overestimated the demand. Google might need to give discounts even earlier if they still maintain the limited availability and premium pricing strategy. And negative early users' feedbacks like hardware issues that plagued Pixel phones in the past will tank the demand even further.

they should be release Pixel 7a yesterday, if they release it few months after it will priced almost same as 7.
