-Trix-, 10 Oct 2022More likely there just isn't ads like SShock said, i m... moreNo, there are ads. It's not a rumor. Apple says that it delivers ads: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/data/en/apple-advertising

I don't know why you don't see ads. I don't know the algorithm Apple uses for delivering ads. But it's a fact that there are ads on Apple phones.

It's not Apple fault at all, it's the fault of world situation. Like i said EUR is now lot weaker so the price is in line with the EUR value. Just like AppStore app prices went up so they are line with US prices.

The same like PS5, why not Nintendo Switch or Xbox Series X/S didn't increased prices in my country?
The prices are not increasing for all products. Only for those products that sell too good and people will pay more even if they are overpriced.

Maybe is not 100% fault of Apple. But in my eyes, Apple is just taking advantage of this situation. The same like Sony is doing with PS5. I will never give my hard earn money to companies like this. That is why I deleted my Sony account and Apple ID.

If absolutely all companies would have done the same, then I would have understood. But because other products (from the same areas), kept similar prices like last year, that means that the companies which increased prices just took advantage of the situation.

Pixel 7 series cost exactly the same like Pixel 6 series from last year, in my country (European country)."

Like already said to you, then it means Google is losing money in EU because EUR is weaker now, that's why things are getting more expensive and it's not just iPhone, i live in EU, food is lot more expensive, gas, electricity, PS5 got more expensive (50e) suddenly and the product already been in stores for long time, what you say about that?

And lot of other things. So yeah not just iPhone.

-Trix-, 10 Oct 2022More likely there just isn't ads like SShock said, i m... moreYou can clearly see they don't care even if literal actual iPhone user confirms that there are no ads anywhere to be seen. They'll just regurgitate same nonsense just like they always do. I mean, to be so dense to literally tell an iPhone user their first hand knowledge doesn't matter and then post a link to some news article about a rumor, what does that tell you?

SShock, 10 Oct 2022Riiight, because all other brands aren't doing the sam... moreNo storage space.
Battery retention reduces drastically and have to carry charger anywhere you go.
Few Mac book lineups are not repairable, unless they are under warranty for which Apple has a fancy term “Apple care” they have to be thrown away since the chipset cannot be replaced for those models. They happily say it to your face that MAC’s cant be repaired we have a great new line up with latest chipset. You only have to sell your kidney to buy one.
Minor repair or change of any part if not under apple warranty costs a fortune. Needless point at their attitude in the service centre as if the part that is getting replaced is carved out of Gold/Platinum.
God, each device needs extra accessories to connect with external hard drive or display unit. They want to make things compact by burning extra holes in the customers pocket.
Software is great, but first you pay for any good app in App store. Already you have invested your hard earned money for hardware and now they ask more for app. Be it Apple tv/ Apple games service all are paid services.

SShock, 10 Oct 2022Riiight, because all other brands aren't doing the sam... moreSteve Jobs, and Bill Gates, Selfish and selfless. Without a doubt Macintosh/Apple is the epitome of greedy. Without saying anything of quality or performance, the reason Windows reigns supreme over the PC/OS market for all these years is the direct result of that greed.

I’m just gonna summarize and leave it up to you to research the history.

Jobs and Gates worked for Xerox developing a Command Prompt’ish user interface UI. They were young, Xerox was old, they saw the future and envisioned a GUI (graphic user interface) together with a HID (human interface device(a mouse))

They pitched the idea to Xerox, Xerox said no, that’s stupid. (at this time a mouse was a fairly uncommon peripheral device mostly for playing games. And served no purpose in a DOS/Command line environment.

So you know what they did?

They stole it, rather they quit and took their work with them. Now here is where the extent of Job’s greed is best argued.

They got the GUI/OS to a functional state, Gates was ready to launch, Jobs wasn’t having it. He was still working on I guess licensing agreements or what have you. Basically Jobs just flat out refused, he wanted to ensure that Customers were 100% dependent on Apple to install any 3rd party hardware or software upgrades. The notion of a Computer geek/gamer installing a brand new GPU themselves rubbed him the wrong way, if you want a new GPU, well then your just gonna have to pay to play with that GPU, cuz like their non removable batteries of today, everything is integrated, no pci slots, agp slots, if you want an Nvidia chip on that board, apples gonna get paid…. What a prick. Gates, was like what why? who gives a f if people want to upgrade let

But probably Apple users, will always find excuses and they will go and buy the overpriced iPhone 14 series.
Sorry, I like my money in my pocket. Or at least, if I throw them away, I would rather do it on something nicer.
