By principle, I'd always choose the lesser of two evils. But for others, preference defies reason. They would pay more for something if it would bring them more happiness because it's what they personally want. Unfortunately for buyers, companies prey on this.

Fruit is definitely testing the waters on how much more they can charge for a sub-par speced large-ish phone, that costs more than many competitor's flagships but is nonetheless filled with discount-bin quality hardware parts (lowballed screen, camera modules, RAM, etc.).
This Tim Apple era is really shaping up to be something that tests Apple crowds masochistic tendencies. Even Sade got nothing on my boy Tim.

Just because it doesn't have the most megapixels, the most RAM, the most PPI, the most Hz, the most everything in biggest numbers possible and so it's "worse" and shouldn't cost as much. I'm tired of this because you haters are always doing it and it's getting boring. Yes, it's a lot of money, but specs on paper are not everything and that very much applies the most to iPhones. I know you won't like it and you'll all going to be complaining over it, but that's a fact. Consistency of hardware results and software support that's so long you could stack two of the average Androids together and kind of match Apple's and you still wouldn't be getting updates as quickly as you do on iPhones. But you all don't care about any of that and you just willfully ignore it.
