I have a OnePlus that's about the same old, and the battery was at just 4 hours of SOT when I decided to replace it for something else. Mine has a 3300 mah capacity and a smaller display so the XR managing more is actually great. Most likely my next phone will be an iPhone or a Samsung (because some of their mid-range phones get almost 4 years of support) but if I plan to spend all the way then maybe 15 Pro or Ultra. One thing I noticed was that on the iphone, 60 hz doesn't quite appear to be 60 hz but almost 90hz which is awesome. And with apple 20w adapter it charges quite fast as well. Overall it's a great phone (12) the speakers too, sound crisp

And the fun part is, it only has 3000mAh battery which is 4 years old and I only charge it to 80% and it still lasts me up to 5 hours SOT which means I get through every day with ease. Granted, it's not gaming, but I've once watched entire movie on Disney+ in HD, browsed Reddit for 2 hours and still had 40% left. From 80% charge. It's absolutely crazy how good Bionic chipsets are.

I've been toying with an iPhone 12 over the last few days and it's definitely holding up pretty well considering its size

Apple in this regard always uses a sweet spot where things are sharp while not wasteful. That goes from small 6.1" XR using crappy 840p LCD up to Pro Max using latest OLED on 6.7"
