Yeah, I feel like I'll wait many years until most potential security exploits are patched.

I'm just gonna stick with trusty password manager. Last thing I want is Google managing my credentials for other things.

Btw, has Android been improved in regards of integration of 3rd party password managers like LastPass or Bitwarden? Last time I used it on Android Pie it was terrible. Often failed to invoke password manager when needed and it was super annoying manually going around and copying passwords. On iOS, this is absolutely flawless, set password manager as default password managing tool and it's just always there 100% reliably. Would be nice if someone can confirm if Android 10, 11 or 12 addressed this and it works absolutely flawlessly now.

you have to suffer, 13 Oct 2022basically an alternative way to unlock saved passwords with... moreI think the QR code is just for the initial handshake - "user x wants to log into x.com", the actual passkey is not transmitted over QR.

basically an alternative way to unlock saved passwords with fingerprint sensor. also the qr code login thingy... not so secure.
