Hemedans, 23 Oct 2022Its Sd 888 equivalent, Mishaal Rahman proved it since June ... moreNot sure I trust that.
If it's just a QSD 888+ but with the TDP Limit raised, there wouldn't be any reason to rebadged it as something else. Or even something too dissimilar.
I'm hearing more chatter in the grapevine, and they're very optimistic news. It's making it sound like the Razer Edge is very competitive in price simply because of its performance, which is now said to be using the old 5nm-Samsung node, same Adreno iGPU as the 888 but clocked higher, and a weird configuration of 8x Cortex-X1 cores only.
Obviously take all of these with a grain of salt. I think my earlier estimation is more likely, but I'm open to be surprised. Time will tell.

S... moreIts Sd 888 equivalent, Mishaal Rahman proved it since June with Benchmark evidence.
Active cooled 888 with zero throttling will perform better than sd 8+ gen 1.

More stable fps is better. The 6D also has better battery life while gaming.

Since is the ROG phone they preformed likely the same.
But Nubia red magic would preform faster at any time a day with its enhanced cooling capabilities.

jamalu96, 23 Oct 2022source: trust me broSource says a17 is just bit stronger than A16, also uses less power.
And how do I know the gpu of 8g3 is called adreno 830 and not adreno 800, 810, 820? (Adreno 740 is name of 8g2 gpu)
I have said months ago 8g2 would be 4nm, only 8g3 would move to 3nm.
No fantasy here, just reality ..

Can you make an article similar to this but compared to old new iPhones? My point is, it is absurd to sell an Android gaming phone for the same price as an iPhone but performs less.

Hemedans, 22 Oct 2022New Razer Handheld has lastest chipset with active cooling ... moreIt's the newest, but it doesn't mean the best.
Still a big mystery.
The price point indicates that it is lower chipset than the QC 8g1, and it certainly should be below the QC 8CX g3. Personally I think it will look like something like this: 2-X1, 2-A78, 4-A55. But some people have been saying it's actually a 0-X1, 8-A78, 0-A55 which seems pretty good actually. But yeah, we'll have to wait a month or so to see how it's designed and how it stacks up.

Anonymous, 23 Oct 2022search on weibo. I only see posts of TSMC using 3N, as we might have already guessed, but I don't see any that specify the cores, design, or performance that A17 will have to say it's a better upgrade

Wish android gaming handhelds have the latest and greatest chipsets like phones, that will be great for emulation. I don`t like playing on phones because that would repeatedly overheat and drain the battery so fast which will shorten their life span

Yeah, more testing would be nice.
Particularly tasks that are real-world, and would stress the system.
You can also compare the most graphically intensive Android game. It looks to be Tomb Raider, but that's exclusive to the Nvidia Shield TV from the Lightspeed Studios. So for mobile, it likely is Genshin Impact. But there are other options like Real Racing 3, Infinity Blade 3, ARK, Fortnite, PubGM, CoD Mobile, Shadowgun Legends, etc etc. However, I don't expect these to offer much of a challenge to high-end devices.
You could instead test some Graphics Rendering tasks, by using a Pro App like Sharpr3D. Then have all devices set to the same settings and the same task. Then measure how long it takes for it to compile. You could also measure how much battery mAh was consumed to complete the task.
My personal way is Emulation. Choose the highest system, most optimised emulator, most graphical game, highest frame-rate, largest resolution, and then test battery life.
For example;
Nintendo Wii, Dolphin emulator, Mario Galaxy 2, 60fps, x4 resolution, 180mins battery runtime. This should push most systems to their maximum.
...it's very intense, and really separates the best device from the handful of great devices out there!!

This was great too see some benchmarks on the gaming smartphone
Although we really need FPS testing in live gameplay on the gaming smartphones testing game compatibility seeing what FPS you get in real games and if games will support the 165hz screen or not
The gaming smartphone also have many feature and buttons see if there supported plus gamers might want too be able too live steam there gameplay and use FPS counter & use gaming headset talking too of players in game or have some other chat app open as there gaming
Needing more than just the game open alone is a possibility and likely we be needed by some gamers
is also why I think the maximum ram amount is probably the best buy plus needing storage space available for ever growing in size games getting updated all of the time and big game library
Plus games if a Android smartphone is full of very many games the game apps themselves don't exactly sit in cold storage all of the time they do use system resources mostly ram in the background hopefully a problem that does get fixed one day and find and reported by game tester
It's a little unfortunate the maximum spec version of each smartphone are not send too reviewer's for benchmarks for more apples too apples compassion
We at least got some useful information
