People wake up. Most of the movies are garbarge. Most people just keep watching the old serials that they remember watching years ago. Don't hypnotize yourself into a false reality.

Let's hope they do ads at random moments and the same ad again and again, just like YouTube !

It's not like these companies require more money out of consumers. These companies are going with subscription services which solely exists to make consumers think that they're paying lesser than traditional TV however, it's starting to be an annoyance to switch platforms for certain content that isn't on the other in which case pirating is better as you don't have to worry about switching to Hulu from Netflix just so you could watch a Hulu original show.

This seems like Netflix is trying really hard to encourage Piracy

"average of 4 to 5 minutes of ads per hour".
I don't watch content frequently, and there are so many OTT platforms now. I don't feel like spending a lot of money on it.
But the problem is, there was a time when I was ok with 5 mins of ads in 30 mins TV show. Now, after using different OTT platforms for a few years, I am used to watching seamless content with no interruption. These ads will feel like torture. 😪

Everywhere else, you can't even get 1080p even though they play Youtube at 4K just fine.

Not worth it with such low resolution.

Then it's basically like trying to watch a Movie off YouTube. The usual compressed 720p footage, and constant intrusion into your enjoyment by getting played once every 3-minutes. Imagine that. EVERY 3 MINUTES. And you're paying for it. It still adds up to 5 minutes total out of 1 hour, but honestly would feel much longer.

I just don't see this being popular at all.

This is the darkest timeline. Ads supported tiers?! Fu#* off!

I'm glad my country's meme TV channel called "Pro TV" has higher resolution than 720p, maybe higher than 1080p now AND less ads count than this travesty. What rages me more than a free TV channel, with lenghty but less ads count? NETFLIX WITH 7 BUCKS A MONTH WITH JUST 720P AND 30 SEC ADS FOR 5 MINUTES!!!!
