Worst of both worlds….either Netflix is worth £6.99 without ads or its not worth anything. £2 savings for say 4 to 5 hours of ads a month to watch means I’m being paid 40p an hour to watch ads.

Lol 720p and ads for £5, are they deliberately trying to make fools out of us? It's should be free (you get YouTube with ads and higher resolutions for free which has far more content including professional grade content).

SShock, 14 Oct 2022What's funny is how Netflix just doesn't get it. ... moreTrue what you said, but at least Disney+ is ad free at this moment. I don't know how much it will be like this, but in Czech Republic is ad free. Also cost 199czk/month (that means around 8EUR/month).
If I am not mistaken, HBO Max is with ads, for the same price (199czk/month), but with larger library of movies. I don't know about Netflix, because I deactivated my account maybe 1 year ago.

AnonD-1066415, 14 Oct 2022Lol, imagine paying to have ads like in TV. Not to mentio... moreWhat's funny is how Netflix just doesn't get it. I don't care about the price. Reason I stopped using Netflix is because if you live in "wrong" country, you'll have like 3/4 content missing. Only things that are everywhere are Netflix's own production. The rest you may or may not get. I simply had nothing of worth to watch at one point. What good is ANY price if there is no purpose in service anymore? And frankly, Disney+ isn't much different. I basically just rewatched all the Alien movies and all the main Star Wars movies and then lost interest in it. All the endless sub series about Star Wars they spawn like crazy just don't spark any interest in me.

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2022they are already super rich. you will not make them poor by... moreSo if someone is rich it's okay to steal from them?
Stealing is never ok and you cant justify it by saying someone is rich. LOL
But again when you guys get proper job and have own money you would understand that stealing is never ok, you are stealing part of someone paycheck and hard work. It's no different than go to store and steal few Blu-ray movies. You are just more likely to get caught.

Lol, imagine paying to have ads like in TV.
Not to mention, many movies nowadays are just poor remakes. Or released just to prove some multicultural diversity. Something like, making a movie about Vikings with bl*ck actors, lol.

Hang on, a quick calculation here.
5 minutes of ads per hour before, DURING and after everything you watch for $7/month basic tier. The normal basic tier is $10/month. In other words, you will save $3/month to be hammered with ads for 10% of the time you watch anything at all, even in the middle of a show. I really, really don't think this is going to be successful. lmfao
I wouldn't even think it's worth it if they asked only $1/month for this.
Imagine you watch 2h per day and 20 days per month, that's a total of 40 hours. During those 40 hours you will be shown ads for at least 3 hours. You save $3 in subscription fees during this time. So in essence, you're being paid $1/h to watch ads. That's literally what it comes down to... Anyone subscribing to this must be insane...

And this is why i use apps that let me watch movies and tv shows and anime 100% free. I dont pay anything and i get 1080p movies literally stream them and i can download them too. Dont care if its illegal. Cuz if it is. Then these apps should be banned but arent also. Isnt it more of a crime to pay then still get ads ???
