Does this mean no more vanilla OnePlus releases?

But again, not all phones are going to have the same problem. Or that your phone was a faulty unit. Idk I really use NFC but the three times I used it, it worked quite okay on both of my phones

All of: super/pro/T/exclusive/F/S/X/+5 G doesn't work anymore! It sounds ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A "Pro" phone without good zoom is no real "pro".

Everything is just pushed the... moreSure, pick the most ridiculous price in that one country and present it as "everything Apple costs $3000". Also I'd rather have Apple way that's potentially stupid, but at least works. Unlike 55 janky implementations of everything across all Android brands. Sorry if that doesn't exactly excites me that much.

Your taste does not matter to them.

$3000 in some markets and user still needs to pay for 3rd apps to do some stuff.
                  Extremely pathetic.

I don't understand all the OnePlus hate at all. I got the 10 Pro about a month ago and I've never been happier with my decision. It's been a solid great all rounder phone. It's been really smooth and problem free, everything works as expected. I absolutely love the screen, the sound, the charging, battery has been decent, cameras have been really great, and the haptics are just really addicting. And the kicker is that it costs nearly half as much as comparable phones from Apple and Samsung where I live. And Google phones aren't sold here either. I got the 12/256 variant in Volcanic Black and I just love the finish of the glass. The back is beautiful. Hands down a really great really wonderful phone. OxygenOS 12 also just works really great. Very smooth and responsive. Phone is fast and solid. No complaints from me.

Considering that there's no vanilla OnePlus 10, that might be the reason behind this decision. I still find it odd that the T model used to be a refreshed version with updated hardware. But with the 10T, that isn't the case anymore. It should be called 10 Lite.

He keeps com... moreSure genius, are you going to finance a 900€ purchase for something that may or may not work? If phone is so stupid that it can't pay me a frigging coffee reliably on a vending machine or even pay in a shop, would you have that? Maybe I wouldn't question everything Android related if it wasn't so god damn janky all the time. Opposed to iPhone which is old as well at this point, yet EVERYTHING works absolutely flawlessly. Spot the frigging difference? Not to mention bunch of other things I've asked about Android, like "how's 3rd party password manager integration these days". Guess how many replies I got about that. ZERO. But sure, I'm suppose to rush to a store and buy new Android phone, because you're offended by the fact iPhone works better and I can actually depend on it at any time, anywhere and I can't get any reliable information on anything I ask about Android. And here of all places where you lot is always so loud like you're all the masters of Android and you know EVERYTHING. Yet you can't even answer basic things that would convince me to get Android phone again. Heh.

There' nothing "Pro" about any of these devices. It just means "bigger screen and a zoom lens". I'm glad it's getting dropped.

ALonZo, 17 Oct 2022Sounds like you've had some bad experiences on older A... moreYeah, I'm taking into consideration that some sort of NFC implementation might be bad on that phone, because I had problems with it when it was a relevant new model. But then again, it makes me question things. Imagine I drop 900€ for Pixel 7 Pro and I have the exact same problem. Or Xiaomi 12T Pro for 700€ and have same problem. Or stick with my prehistoric iPhone XR that just works guaranteed and I can be sure any other iPhone would just as well. That's the main issue. I could sell it used and just take the loss, but it's hard to sell used product that is essentially brand new as people start to wonder if anything is wrong and you don't exactly go around advertising you had issues paying with it, like would you buy such a phone? Sure, specifics, but it's a problem. And having 900€ sitting there getting stale and losing value isn't exactly what I have in mind.

He keeps comparing his ten year old cheap android phones with iphones all the time and thereby concludes that all android phones are bad or something

Basically he will make the most illogical statements about any Android phone, only to make the iPhone look better at the end
