They would do a lot better if they release a Razer 3 phone with unbelievable specs compared to other less innovative and less competitive cmpetition which as usualy just toying on the ground and thats it.

Good phones are like real life magicians because we see illusionists everywhere.
But illusion is not a magic is just a fake which with couple of training anyone can preform on its own real magic and real magicians are different sorte and razer brand knows very well how to cast miracles out of their sleeve.

RealLifePhones, 17 Oct 2022With absolutely zero specs of the Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 on t... moreExactly. Still has no idea what G3x is all about and how it will perform. If it's not significantly different than 8 Gen 1/1+ in terms of overall CPU and GPU performance, then I don't see any point to buy this kind of device at all.

What is Razer bringing up to the table releasing this? I don't get
If the point is Cloud, I could just buy an Gamesir or Razer Kishi of sorts and plug it on my phone and this will do the same thing. In fact, i played Forza Horizon 5 through Game Pass Cloud in my Mi 9 Lite, an midrange from 2019, and worked flawlessly...

      It's a hard sell.

In the current market I just don't see how this could possibly be a success, we have Gaming phones(with optional accesories) that easily achieve the same thing and are more versatile in use(albeit at a higher cost), as well as the much more widely available (and arguably better)Steam Deck on which you can actually run proper titles instead of just android games.

A better question might be: What demographic are they trying to focus on?
Mobile gamers? There is no way that'll take off, even gaming phones are niche at best and everyone knows that for the casual mobile gaming consoles Nintendo has the entire market.

So perhaps it's about cloud gaming? Highly doubt that, buy a controller and use your phone with Geforce Now, phones are nigh the same size display anyway.

Please tell me how this device will sell, because I really don't see it.

i`m fine with a Razer Kishi V2 Pro controller and a snapdragon 8 gen2 smartphone.

Steam deck much better than this boring thing, they only bet on selling by brand name

With absolutely zero specs of the Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 on the internet Razer and Qualcomm just expect us to blindly trust them that it will perform good or am I missing something?
I'm not buying a real life loot box so give us some specs!

                I want one.

I still prefer my premium android device to any gaming console
