big waste, they should have made a 6.5 inch which could be rolled or streched sideways to have a 9.5 inch screen, that would be ideal and will be the next big innovation . Sadly LG who where trying this stopped their smartphone biz.

I'm sure there are ppl out there who find this useful....My opinion on this phone is....its kinda pointless? Doesn't really seem like its getting a lot smaller and when it is fully rolled out its only the same as any other smartphone on the market these days....The Book style and clamshell style seem far more useful in many ways...

Tr1kk1, 19 Oct 2022I have totally different experience with ios. I don't ... moreI guess iOS now is much more clunky than 3 yrs ago, but One UI is too much. Clean Android, like Moto's UI is a good middle ground.

I find it to be really clunky and annoying to use. Also it's very limiting to the user, i hate that. I like android, i can do whatever i want with it.

I'm no expert but this looks potentially more trustworthy than foldable ones, in terms of not breaking as easily for example. The screen must still be the same sort of soft, thin layer as in foldable ones.

Anonymous, 18 Oct 2022This will fail. Rollable display is just a bad idea Yeah it's just a gimmick for consumeristic children. It doesn't solve any real problem or provides any real inovation.

I do not see any use for this kind of rollable as foldable&rollable enthusiast.
It should be like Oppo x 2021 which is normal phone which could be rolled to be small tablet.

I love the simplicity of iOS (esp. since I moved from Samsung One UI to Apple), but I will probably be a million years old by the time Apple launches something cool like this Moto "Rolla".
