As an S21 owner, I would argue that the design of S22 was only partially reused.

So if you get S22, you'll be good for the next 5-10 years. S27 will be more or less the same.

It may be fine on the larger Plus variant but on the smaller one it will feel like a tank. It's not a pleasant feeling, trust me. Ask for better software optimization instead. Sub-4,000 mAh smartphones can last two days if developed right.

So basically Samsung and Apple just make the cameras bigger every year until eventually they become bigger than the phone itself and will be sold seperately like the charger

If they can get this right, I am due for an upgrade. Snapdragon with TSMC node and good battery life in a compact factor is all I care. As someone rightly pointed though, an impending war may just mean postpone everything over life.

not that it would help, since it will have guaranteed slow Samsung shutter anyway, so useless for photos

Oneplus 11 pro is definitely going to be something, same goes to Honor Maguic ultimate versions and Oukitel brand with its WP15 and Oukitel WP 19 model.
And maybe Motorola 30 edge ultra but it got curved screen and i hate curved screens.
Rest are definitely boring phones.

Samsung slovly becoming apple. Nothing new apart the asking prie and improved CPU and GPU which adds 5-10% performance from previous model.
Not worth to upgrade apart the fact you pay a lot more for android device over IOS device where prices between old and new model i mean apple are maybe 100 bucks compared to 300-500 eur deffirence between S22 and S23
