The 12T 8/256 is US$422 in Malaysia and surrounding countries, so it is still a good choice there. 12T Pro 8/256 is US$570.
I read how some people here keep saying better get Iphone and Samsung. Well, when even the cheapest Iphone 14 128 is $887 and S22 128 is US$739, you guys can see why Xiaomi is so popular in these countries.

Xiaomi isn't worth that 800-1200USD tags except this year's Ultra. They have done fantastic jobs for Ultra. I am kind of waiting for Oppo Find X6 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Ultra next year.

IOS does have ads now and it's widely reported by users and tech reviewers including GSMarena. Personal experience, my wife's 11 Pro Max started having ads appear on the App Store and News conveniently showing 'recommendations' for things relating to what she searched on Safari.

Security is the cost you pay. Because honestly xiaomi and Security don't go together. The hardware is awesome at this price, but the software is really breaking my heart

I have the 12t pro .There is no better phone in this price range . Low fatigue certified screen ,very good battery live , very good main camera that can also take good zoom pictures .Smooth ,fast and reliable . Debloating is easy if you are smart , everything can be uninstalled , this phone is not for iOS users or Samsung users . It's worth every penny . Much better than Samsung crap that are slow and heat up .or closed iOS phones .

Phones are just getting stale and boring. It's just a game of throwing around big figures especially with these Android phones. In my all these years using iPhone I never seen any single ads on iPhone system unlike MIUI. I used Xiaomi phones before, like 5 of them from the Mi series to Redmi Note 🤦🏻♂️

Oki, 23 Oct 2022Why buy device with bloatware and adware at this price poin... moreYou can get rid of all bloatware and MIUI ads with a program called "Universal Android Debloater GUI", or the previous one, "Xiaomi ADB/Fastboot Tools", search them on GitHub. I did so and even made my and my friends Xiaomi phones work smoother (and obviously improved their battery life).

The 12T series, like all Xiaomi main lineup, don't have ads and the GSMarena team confirmed this in their reviews. About bloatware, well, if $1000 Samsung phones have bloatware why you complaining about bloatware on $500 phones that can be uninstalled anyway?

Why buy device with bloatware and adware at this price point? Xiaomi is only good in 200-400$ price segment but even there they are getting beaten by competition now
