I used to have an iPad mini gen 2 until a year or two ago. Great portable media device that served me well for a long long time. If I were to buy a tablet now it would once again only serve as a media viewing device. So for someone like me the iPad 2022 is great, because it brings down the price of the 2021 model which is what I would buy. Apple still makes the best value for money tablets (at least in my market). I just wish the storage size could be upgraded but that's never going to happen.

It offers very little of an upgrade over the 2021 model, and it can't fully harness the newfound power the M2 offers. I honestly think you should go for an iPhone or Macbook Air. There's nothing the iPad does that an iPhone or Macbook does perfectly okay if not better.
Oi, how much does the M1 iPad Pro cost? If below 800 dollars, that would be a cracking deal.

honestly just to have something that works and doesn't have bottom tier specs, I'd just grab whatever ipad is affordable on ebay. like less than 150usd

iPad 8 works like on day one. I have little use for it apart from studying so I Hope that I won’t need to spend any money on a tablet for the next 7-10 years.

i wonder which type of editors use ipads for video editing.
